<p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Perform comprehensive physical examinations, consultations, and routine health assessments for dogs and cats.</p></li><li><p>Diagnose and manage common medical conditions in small-animal patients.</p></li><li><p>Develop appropriate treatment plans and clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care to pet owners.</p></li><li><p>Perform routine soft-tissue surgical procedures and assist with surgical cases when required.</p></li><li><p>Perform and interpret routine diagnostic procedures, including laboratory tests, microscopy, imaging, and other clinical investigations.</p></li><li><p>Provide preventive healthcare, including vaccinations, deworming, parasite control, dental care, and wellness programs.</p></li><li><p>Manage emergency and urgent cases appropriately and provide timely stabilization and treatment.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.</p></li><li><p>Prescribe medications responsibly and provide clear instructions to clients regarding treatment and follow-up care.</p></li><li><p>Monitor hospitalized or boarding patients and ensure their medical and welfare needs are properly addressed.</p></li><li><p>Provide professional and compassionate client communication and maintain a high standard of customer service.</p></li><li><p>Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses, reception, and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily clinic operations.</p></li><li><p>Follow clinic protocols, veterinary standards, health and safety procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.</p></li><li><p>Participate in continuing professional development and contribute to maintaining high standards of veterinary care within the clinic.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li><p>Veterinary Medicine degree from a recognized institution.</p></li><li><p><strong>MOCCAE-licensed veterinarian or fully eligible to obtain MOCCAE / Dubai Municipality licensing.</strong></p></li><li><p>Previous hands-on clinical experience in <strong>small-animal practice</strong> is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Strong clinical examination, diagnostic, and case-management skills.</p></li><li><p>Competent in routine soft-tissue surgery and basic emergency management.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of preventive medicine, vaccination protocols, parasite control, and general veterinary care.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a veterinary team.</p></li><li><p>Good organizational skills and attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>Genuine compassion and passion for animal welfare.</p></li><li><p>Professional, responsible, reliable, and willing to continuously learn and develop.</p></li></ul><br><p>Preferred Skills</p><ul><li><p>Experience working in a busy small-animal veterinary clinic.</p></li><li><p>Experience with dogs and cats of different ages and medical conditions.</p></li><li><p>Ability to perform routine surgical procedures independently.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with laboratory diagnostics and interpretation of common test results.</p></li><li><p>Experience handling emergency and critical cases.</p></li><li><p>Strong client education and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience working in the UAE veterinary sector is an advantage.</p></li></ul>

<p>Provide specialist rheumatology consultations in an outpatient clinic setting. Diagnose and manage inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, osteoporosis, chronic pain conditions, and autoimmune disorders. Prescribe, monitor, and optimise treatment plans, including DMARDs and biologic therapies where clinically appropriate. Perform joint assessments and outpatient procedures such as joint injections where applicable. Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and relevant investigations. Develop long-term follow-up plans for chronic rheumatology patients. Collaborate with Orthopaedics, Physiotherapy, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and other specialties. Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, medication use, lifestyle management, and long-term disease control. Maintain accurate medical records in line with clinical governance and regulatory standards. Participate in clinical audit, CME, service development, and quality improvement initiatives. </p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Specialist Rheumatologist with UAE professional registration or eligibility. DHA, DOH/HAAD, or MOH specialist licence preferred. Completion of recognised specialist qualification approved by UAE regulatory authorities. Minimum 5 years’ post-specialist experience preferred. Strong outpatient rheumatology experience. Confident managing chronic inflammatory, autoimmune, and musculoskeletal conditions. Experience prescribing and monitoring DMARDs and biologic therapies. Excellent patient communication and follow-up management skills. Fluent English language skills. Arabic language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.</p>
