A leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant or Specialist Physician - Internal Medicine to join its growing medical team.<br><br>The successful candidate will provide comprehensive consultant-level medical care, manage complex adult medical conditions, and work collaboratively with specialists and allied healthcare professionals to deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Provide consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, and management of adult patients Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and develop individualized treatment plans Manage acute and chronic medical conditions across outpatient and inpatient settings Evaluate complex and undifferentiated medical presentations Review and interpret laboratory, radiological, ECG, and other diagnostic investigations Manage patients with conditions including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, renal conditions, infectious diseases, and cardiovascular risk factors Assess patients with multiple comorbidities and coordinate multidisciplinary management Provide appropriate emergency assessment and stabilization within the physician's scope of practice Refer patients to relevant subspecialists when advanced specialist intervention is required Coordinate patient care with emergency medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, pulmonology, infectious diseases, and other departments Provide clinical guidance to junior physicians and medical team members where appropriate Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient medical records Communicate diagnosis, treatment plans, prognosis, and preventive-care recommendations clearly to patients and families Promote evidence-based medicine and appropriate use of diagnostic investigations and medications Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, patient-safety initiatives, and multidisciplinary meetings Comply with DHA regulations, professional standards, clinical guidelines, and facility policies<br><br>Requirements<br><br>MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.<br><br>Recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine.<br><br>Appropriate experience at Consultant level.<br><br>DHA License or DHA Eligibility is preferred.<br><br>Candidates meeting DHA eligibility requirements may also be considered.<br><br>Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.<br><br>Demonstrated experience managing complex adult medical cases.<br><br>Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.<br><br>Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.<br><br>Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities – Critical Care Medicine• Provide comprehensive management of critically ill patients with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, multi-organ dysfunction, and severe infections• Lead ICU care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, and continuous monitoring• Perform and supervise advanced life support procedures, including intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, and resuscitation• Manage ventilated patients, including weaning protocols and advanced respiratory support strategies• Coordinate care for post-operative and trauma patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention• Participate in rapid response and code blue teams, ensuring timely intervention in life-threatening situations• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, emergency physicians, and subspecialists• Interpret and utilise advanced diagnostic data, including laboratory results, imaging, and bedside monitoring systems• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and ICU quality standards• Provide family communication and counselling regarding patient condition, prognosis, and treatment plans• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory standards• Participate in clinical audits, ICU quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs• Ensure compliance with international critical care guidelines and UAE healthcare regulations Qualifications & Board Recognition Applications are welcome from physicians holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:• American Board of Internal Medicine – Critical Care Medicine• American Board of Anesthesiology – Critical Care• UK CCT / FRCA / MRCP with Critical Care Medicine training• Royal College Certification (Canada)• Australian Fellowship (FANZCA / CICM)• Arab Board in Critical Care Medicine• DM / DNB / MD/ FCPS Critical Care Medicine or equivalent recognised specialist qualification Compensation & Benefits• Highly competitive tax-free consultant salary• Performance-based incentives• Housing allowance or accommodation support• Comprehensive family medical insurance• Annual return flight tickets• Professional indemnity / malpractice coverage• Continuing Medical Education (CME) support Licensing & Relocation Support Full assistance will be provided for:• DOH / DHA license conversion guidance• Credential verification and documentation support• Relocation assistance to Dubai / UAE• Hospital onboarding and professional integration support
