<p>Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Inspector to join our Construction Supervision team for an infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring electrical works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, project quality standards, and the applicable regulations and standards of Abu Dhabi authorities.
Key Responsibilities
-Review and understand contract documents, technical specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
-Inspect electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved shop drawings, and applicable Abu Dhabi regulations and international standards.
-Monitor contractor activities through routine inspections, testing, and verification to ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) requirements.
-Witness testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems and verify compliance with project specifications.
-Process Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate with the Resident Engineer (RE), Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE), and discipline engineers for timely approvals.
-Review materials delivered to site and verify compliance with approved material submittals and project specifications.
-Maintain daily site records, including contractor manpower, equipment, work progress, and site activities.
-Record site observations, non-conformances, corrective actions, and construction progress through detailed inspection reports.
-Carry out site inspections as directed by the RE/ARE and monitor implementation of issued site instructions.
-Verify measurements and quantities of completed works for progress reporting and payment purposes.
-Ensure all electrical installations comply with approved quality procedures, project standards, and contract requirements.
Monitor contractor compliance with HSE requirements and immediately report unsafe practices or violations.
-Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure proper interface between electrical works and civil, mechanical, utilities, and road infrastructure.
-Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.</p><p>Qualifications & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

<p>Leads and manages MEP construction supervision, ensuring effective coordination of all MEP systems and specialist trades. <p>Experienced dealing with MEP contractors and subcontractors.</p>
<p>Strong technical background in MEP projects and should have at least 2 full life cycle project experience working on a Project Management Consultancy team.</p>
