Job Overview:<br>The Employee Experience Manager is responsible for shaping a consistent, inclusive and positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle, with particular focus on employee engagement, well-being, employee relations and the day-to-day experience of frontline employees. The role translates employee feedback and business priorities into practical initiatives that strengthen trust, belonging, performance and retention. The role also leads frontline accommodation management, ensuring company-provided accommodation is safe, compliant, well maintained and managed to defined welfare and service standards. Working closely with HR, Operations, HSE, Facilities, Procurement, Finance and external service providers, the position ensures effective occupancy planning, responsive issue resolution, cost control and continuous improvement.<br>Key Roles and Responsibilities:<br>1. Employee Experience Strategy & Lifecycle Management Develop and implement an employee experience strategy aligned with the organisation’s people priorities, values and business objectives. Map and continuously improve key employee journeys, including onboarding, workplace integration, development, internal movement, recognition and offboarding. Partner with HR and business leaders to embed company values and consistent employee experience standards across locations and employee groups. Identify experience gaps and translate employee insights into practical, measurable improvement plans.2. Employee Engagement, Recognition & Communication Design and deliver engagement, recognition, team-building and corporate social responsibility initiatives that strengthen motivation, belonging and collaboration. Manage employee listening channels, including engagement surveys, pulse checks, focus groups and feedback forums, and ensure timely follow-up on agreed actions. Develop inclusive communication channels that keep employees informed and provide meaningful opportunities for employee voice. Track participation, impact and feedback to improve the relevance and reach of engagement initiatives, particularly for frontline employees.3. Employee Well-being, Welfare & Workplace Culture Lead physical, mental, social and financial well-being initiatives appropriate to the needs of office-based and frontline employees. Promote psychological safety, inclusion, dignity and respectful workplace behaviours through relevant programmes and manager guidance. Coordinate with internal and external partners to provide wellness support, awareness campaigns and employee assistance services. Monitor well-being and welfare trends, identify emerging concerns and recommend preventative or corrective action.4. Employee Relations, Grievances & Case Management Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring fair, timely and confidential handling of employee relations matters. Manage grievance, disciplinary and workplace investigation processes in line with company policy, due process and applicable UAE legislation. Mediate workplace disputes, support constructive resolution and coach managers on performance, conduct and employee relations matters. Maintain accurate case records, identify recurring themes and recommend systemic improvements while safeguarding confidentiality.5. Frontline Accommodation Management Lead the end-to-end management of company-provided frontline accommodation, ensuring safe, clean, secure, compliant and dignified living conditions. Establish and monitor accommodation standards covering room allocation, occupancy, hygiene, housekeeping, catering interfaces, security, pest control, waste management, utilities, preventive maintenance and common-area facilities. Oversee accommodation capacity and occupancy planning, including allocations, transfers, check-in/check-out, room and bed-space records, and coordination with recruitment, mobilization and project teams. Conduct regular inspections and welfare visits with HSE, Facilities and relevant stakeholders; document findings, assign corrective actions and follow through to closure. Ensure compliance with applicable UAE and local authority requirements, civil defence and HSE standards, company policies, accommodation rules and emergency preparedness requirements. Manage accommodation supervisors, support teams and service providers; set service levels, monitor performance and address service gaps promptly. Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, cleaning, security and other support services, ensuring issues are prioritised, tracked and resolved within agreed timelines. Manage resident concerns, complaints, welfare cases and incidents sensitively and consistently, escalating serious risks and coordinating emergency response when required. Support accommodation budgets, purchase requirements, utility and operating-cost monitoring, invoice validation and cost-efficiency initiatives without compromising welfare or compliance. Maintain accurate accommodation records, registers, inspection reports, incident logs, vendor documentation and management dashboards. Promote resident awareness of accommodation rules, safety, hygiene, respectful conduct and shared responsibility through induction and ongoing communication.6. Governance, Analytics & Continuous Improvement Define and monitor employee experience and accommodation KPIs, including engagement, case resolution, welfare, occupancy, compliance, service levels and employee satisfaction. Prepare regular management reports highlighting trends, risks, improvement actions, costs and outcomes. Benchmark relevant practices and introduce fit-for-purpose improvements, digital tools and process efficiencies. Manage assigned budgets and external partners in line with procurement, governance and cost-control requirements. Undertake other related responsibilities consistent with the purpose and level of the role, as assigned by management.<br>Key Performance Areas:<br>Employee experience and engagement effectiveness Employee well-being, welfare and culture Employee relations, grievance and case-management quality Frontline accommodation safety, compliance and service standards Accommodation occupancy, maintenance, vendor and cost management Employee feedback, reporting and continuous improvement<br>Educational Qualification and Experience:<br>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Facilities Management or a related field; a master’s degree is advantageous. Strong knowledge of employee relations, grievance and disciplinary procedures, employee engagement and well-being practices. Working knowledge of applicable UAE employment requirements and accommodation, welfare, HSE and local authority standards relevant to company-provided frontline accommodation. Demonstrated capability in accommodation or multi-site service operations, including inspections, occupancy planning, maintenance coordination, vendor oversight and incident management. Strong communication, stakeholder management, conflict-resolution, analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels and across diverse cultures. High integrity and discretion when handling confidential, sensitive or welfare-related matters. Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, PHR or SPHR) and/or relevant facilities, HSE or welfare certification is advantageous. Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in employee experience, employee relations, HR operations, employee welfare or a related field, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience managing company-provided frontline accommodation, welfare services, facilities or large multi-site workforces in the UAE—preferably within construction, engineering, contracting or a similarly workforce-intensive sector is strongly preferred.
