<span>Purpose of the role Janus Digital ™ is building its global marketing function from a small base, and this role is central to making it scale.<br> It exists to turn marketing strategy into shipped work at pace: producing and localising the assets each market needs, running the day-to-day marketing operations underneath them, and building the automation that makes the whole engine repeatable rather than manual.<br> The role is deliberately a hybrid.<br> It is not a traditional marketing executive and it is not an engineering role.<br> It is a marketer who is comfortable in tooling, automation and AI, who sits wholly within marketing and works closely with the AI Office, and who does the hands-on execution a fast-moving function needs done every week.<br> Reporting and location Reports to: Head of Marketing & Growth.<br> Works closely with: the AI software engineering team, the product and technology teams, the country commercial teams, and the People and talent acquisition team.<br> Location: Dubai, UAE.<br> Office-based five days a week.<br> Standard hours are 09:00 to 18:00 with an hour for lunch.<br> What the role does 1.<br> Campaign and content delivery (roughly 40%) Produce and ship marketing assets: leave-behind and send-ahead packs, market landing pages, decks, social posts, short video cuts and email sends.<br> Own the production queue: version control, sign-off tracking, and getting work out of draft and into market.<br> Adapt core assets for local markets (Singapore and the UK first, then the next launch markets), working from the global source material rather than rebuilding it.<br> 2. Marketing operations and website (roughly 25%) Day-to-day website updates, publishing and QA across the Janus Digital sites, including the per-market pages.<br> Keep the martech stack clean and usable: CRM hygiene, list management, tracking, UTMs, analytics tags, form and consent plumbing.<br> Reporting: campaign and channel performance, pipeline contribution, and a weekly and monthly view that anyone can read without a briefing.<br> 3. Marketing engineering and AI (roughly 25%) Build and maintain the agentic workflows that make the campaign engine repeatable: content adaptation, list building and enrichment, reporting pulls, publishing pipelines.<br> Prototype rather than specify in the abstract.<br> Where a script, a query or an agent will answer the question faster than a vendor, build it.<br> Work with the AI Office engineering team to specify, test and deploy marketing agentic.<br> Write clear requirements, run the testing, and own the marketing side of every build through to live.<br> 4. Events and programme support (roughly 10%) Practical support on roundtables, webinars, other events and marketing activations and programmes: invite tracking, collateral production, print and supplier coordination, and on-the-day logistics, working with country office managers where appropriate.<br> Support the internship and certification programmes as they stand up, including onboarding and buddying incoming interns.<br> What we are looking for MUST-HAVES Genuine interest in marketing as a craft, not just as technology.<br> This is a marketing role.<br> Fluent, confident use of AI tools (for example Claude, Claude Code, Claude Design, ChatGPT and Codex).<br> Able to show work built with them, and the demonstrable learnings that came out of it.<br> Project management skills and highly organised: clear written updates, dependencies tracked, nothing dropped silently.<br> Strong written English and a sharp eye for detail in published work.<br> Comfortable in a small, fast-moving team where plans change.<br> NICE-TO-HAVES 2 – 4 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology, technology services, real estate, infrastructure or financial services.<br> Comfort with code: some Python, JavaScript or similar.<br> Self-taught counts.<br> A computer science degree is not required and an engineering background is not what we are hiring for.<br> Hands-on familiarity with a CMS, a CRM and an analytics platform in a working environment rather than a course.<br> Data handling: spreadsheets to a genuinely useful standard.<br> SQL is a bonus.<br> Basic video, design or motion skills (Canva, Premiere, Figma or similar).<br> How the role will be measured Marketing output shipped: volume, quality, speed from brief to published, and the commercial impact of the work.<br> Recurring manual tasks removed, and hours returned to the function.<br> Data quality in the CRM and reliability of the reporting.<br> Event and launch delivery on date and on standard, without escalation.<br></span> </div>
<p>The AI Engineer / Agent Developer is the hands-on builder of the Group’s Agentic AI capability, turning approved use cases into working, reliable agents that operate safely against real enterprise systems and data.
The role spans rapid prototyping and production engineering — designing prompts and retrieval strategies, integrating agents with core platforms and tools, and instrumenting them so that accuracy, reliability, cost, and exception handling can be measured and improved. Success is judged not by demonstrations but by agents that hold up in daily business use under enterprise standards of security and control.
</p><p><strong>▶ Agent Development & Engineering</strong>
– Build, configure, and test AI agents against defined business use cases, translating solution blueprints into working implementations.
– Work hands-on across prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), workflow automation, API development, and tool integration.
– Implement agent reasoning patterns, tool selection logic, memory and context management, and structured output handling.
– Design and implement guardrails — input validation, output constraints, confidence thresholds, and safe failure behaviour.
– Apply disciplined engineering practice: version control, code review, environment separation, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
▶ <strong>Prototyping & Production Deployment</strong>
– Develop rapid prototypes that prove or disprove feasibility quickly, with clear articulation of assumptions and limitations.
– Support the transition of validated prototypes into production deployment, including hardening, performance tuning, and operational documentation.
– Prepare release artefacts, runbooks, and support handover materials for infrastructure and application support teams.
– Contribute to shared libraries, reusable components, prompt templates, and evaluation harnesses that accelerate future builds.
▶ <strong>Enterprise Systems Integration</strong>
– Connect AI agents with enterprise systems, documents, databases, and workflow tools, including ERP, CRM, HRMS, procurement, and document repositories.
– Build and consume secure APIs and integration services, managing authentication, rate limits, error handling, and retry logic.
– Implement human-in-the-loop approval steps and escalation routes so that agent actions remain reviewable and reversible.
– Coordinate with enterprise application owners on data contracts, sandbox access, regression testing, and release windows.
▶ <strong>Performance Monitoring & Quality Assurance</strong>
– Monitor agent performance, accuracy, reliability, latency, and exception handling in both test and production environments.
– Build evaluation datasets and automated test suites to detect regression when prompts, models, or upstream data change.
– Investigate failures and unexpected behaviour to root cause, and implement corrective changes with documented evidence of improvement.
– Track token consumption and inference cost, and optimise model selection, context size, and caching accordingly.
▶ <strong>Collaboration, Security & Documentation</strong>
– Work closely with the AI / Agentic AI Lead, data engineers, application specialists, and business users throughout the delivery cycle.
– Apply cybersecurity and data protection requirements in every build, including data classification, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
– Maintain clear technical documentation covering architecture, prompts, integrations, known limitations, and support procedures.
– Support user enablement by demonstrating capability, gathering structured feedback, and iterating on real-world usage.
</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>▶ Education
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
