<span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities, which may include pools, beach, entertainment zone/game-room, fitness center, and child activities center. Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facilities intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members. Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure in the event of an emergency. Provide cashier services when working in facilities that include point of sales transactions. Assist when hosting private functions within the recreation facilities with group activities and events. Be aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor/manager Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services. Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment and supplies.<br>Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 25 pounds with assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. <h4>What you will do</h4>

<li>Manage and supervise the day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations for all Dubai Collection properties.</li>
<li>Handle guest, corporate, travel agent, and credit card inquiries relating to accounts and billing across multiple properties.</li>
<li>Prepare, review, and process invoices, credit notes, proforma invoices, and account adjustments in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Monitor outstanding balances and coordinate collection efforts across the Dubai Collection portfolio to ensure timely recovery of receivables.</li>
<li>Maintain complete, accurate, and organized records for all Accounts Receivable transactions.</li>
<li>Reconcile guest ledger, city ledger, and credit card accounts for the assigned properties.</li>
<li>Review group and event contracts, understand billing arrangements, and follow up on deposits and prepayments.</li>
<li>Liaise with Sales, Reservations, Front Office, Events, and Finance teams across multiple properties to ensure accurate billing and account settlement.</li>
<li>Prepare Accounts Receivable aging reports and provide collection updates to management.</li>
<li>Support month-end closing activities and reporting requirements for all Dubai Collection properties.</li>
</ul>
<h4>What you bring</h4>
<ul>
<li>2–5 years of hotel Accounts Receivable experience.</li>
<li>Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel finance department is preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Opera PMS.</li>
<li>Good clerical and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of hotel billing procedures, city ledger, collections, credit control, and proforma invoicing.</li>
<li>Experience in handling guest and corporate account inquiries.</li>
<li>Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.</li>

This role leads guest engagement initiatives, manages guest feedback and service recovery processes, supports operational excellence, and collaborates with outlet managers to create memorable dining experiences that align with the organization's brand standards and business objectives.</p>

The role covers design review, construction supervision, quality, schedule and cost control, and interface management for rolling stock depots, maintenance facilities and all buildings located along the railway alignment, ensuring that works are delivered safely, to specification, and in accordance with applicable international and local rail standards.</p><br><p><strong>Depot Buildings</strong></p><br><ul><li>Manage and oversee the design development, review and construction of depot civil and structural works, including rolling stock maintenance workshops, stabling sheds, inspection pits, wheel-lathe and wash-plant buildings, and associated foundations and structures.</li><li>Direct the delivery of depot administration, operations control, warehouse/stores, fuel and lubrication, fire station, security and staff welfare buildings.</li><li>Oversee depot-wide infrastructure including internal roads, hardstanding, drainage, retaining structures and boundary works, ensuring coordination with track, systems and utility works within the depot footprint.</li><li>Coordinate civil works interfaces with permanent way, overhead contact system (OCS), signalling, power and building services (MEP) contractors within the depot.</li></ul><p><strong>Online (Wayside) Buildings</strong></p><br><ul><li>Manage civil and structural works for buildings located along the alignment, including signalling equipment rooms, traction power substations and OCS feeder stations, telecommunications huts, ventilation and plant buildings, and emergency access/escape structures.</li><li>Oversee construction of station-related civil/structural elements, patrol and maintenance buildings, staff welfare cabins and security posts sited along the corridor.</li><li>Ensure online buildings are correctly sequenced and interfaced with earthworks, structures, track possessions and systems installation activities along the alignment.</li></ul><p><strong>General Management & Technical Duties</strong></p><br><ul><li>Lead a multidisciplinary team of civil/structural engineers and site supervisors, allocating resources across depot and wayside building work-fronts.</li><li>Review and approve design deliverables, drawings, specifications and method statements for compliance with contract requirements and applicable codes (e.g., Eurocodes, UIC, AREMA, or project-specified equivalents, and local UAE/GCC building and civil defence codes).</li><li>Supervise contractors and subcontractors on site, monitoring workmanship, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and adherence to approved methods and programme.</li><li>Develop and maintain the civil works construction programme for depot and online buildings, monitoring progress, identifying delays and implementing recovery measures.</li><li>Manage cost control, change/variation assessment and reporting for the civil works package(s) under their responsibility.</li><li>Enforce project health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements across all depot and online building work sites.</li><li>Manage technical and programme interfaces with systems-wide contractors (rolling stock, signalling, power, telecommunications, permanent way) and with the client, engineer and relevant authorities (municipalities, utility providers, civil defence).</li><li>Chair/participate in technical and progress review meetings, and prepare regular progress, risk and status reports for project leadership.</li><li>Manage risk registers, non-conformances and defects for the civil works scope, and support testing, commissioning and handover of depot and online buildings.</li><li>Review and verify as-built documentation, O&M manual inputs and close-out records for the civil works scope.</li><li>Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site staff.</li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><p><strong>Minimum Join us.</p><br><br>Job Description<br><p>Role Summary</p><br><p>The Senior Planning Engineer works within the consultant's project controls team, acting on behalf of the client to oversee the planning and schedule performance of the contractors delivering a multi-contract rail programme in the UAE. The role reviews and accepts contractor programmes, monitors and verifies progress, maintains an integrated programme-level view across all contracts, and provides independent assessment of schedule variances, delays and extension of time claims. The role also gives the client clear, concise and executive-level insight into programme status, critical path and schedule risk.</p><br><p>Key Responsibilities</p><br><p><strong>Contractor Programme Review and Acceptance</strong></p><br><ul><li>Review contractors' baseline programmes for compliance with contract requirements, including key dates, milestones, sectional completion, WBS structure, logic, resource loading and constraints, and recommend acceptance or rejection with clear, documented comments.</li><li>Review and challenge EPC schedule logic, float use, critical path integrity and durations, making sure programmes are realistic and fit for use in progress monitoring and delay assessment.</li><li>Review contractors' revised programmes, recovery programmes and monthly updates, making sure changes are properly justified and do not hide delay or float manipulation.</li><li>Specify and enforce planning requirements, such as WBS, coding structure, update procedures and submission formats, so reporting is consistent across all contracts.</li></ul><p><strong>Integrated Programme Management</strong></p><br><ul><li>Develop and maintain the integrated master programme, combining all contractor programmes with design, authority approvals, third-party works and client-side activities.</li><li>Identify and manage interfaces and dependencies between contracts (civil, trackwork, rail systems, stations, depots), highlighting cross-contract risks to the critical path early.</li><li>Assess how delays on one contract affect the others and the overall programme completion date.</li></ul><p><strong>Progress Monitoring and Verification</strong></p><br><ul><li>Independently verify contractor-reported progress through site inspections, measurement records, design deliverable status and procurement tracking.</li><li>Agree progress measurement methods and rules of credit with contractors and hold them to it.</li><li>Track schedule performance using Earned Value Management (EVM), including SPI and CPI, earned value, planned value and forecast trends, and relate it to cost and payment performance.</li></ul><p><strong>Reporting to the Client</strong></p><br><ul><li>Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and presentations for the client, summarising status, key issues, critical path movement, risks and recommended actions at an executive level.</li><li>Produce programme dashboards, S-curves, milestone trackers and look-ahead summaries across all contracts.</li><li>Present schedule findings in progress meetings and hold contractors to account for slippage and recovery commitments.</li></ul><p><strong>Variance, Delay and Claims Assessment</strong></p><br><ul><li>Identify and investigate schedule variances, determine root causes, and instruct or request recovery measures from contractors.</li><li>Independently assess contractors' extension of time (EOT) claims and time impact analyses (TIAs), and prepare the Engineer's assessment.</li><li>Assess the time effect of variations, instructions and change requests before they are issued, so the client understands the schedule consequences of its decisions.</li><li>Keep independent schedule records to support the client's position in claims and disputes.</li></ul><p><strong>Scope and Change Control</strong></p><br><ul><li>Support scope control and change management across the programme, making sure approved changes are properly reflected in contractor programmes and the integrated master programme.</li><li>Interpret drawings, specifications and contract documents to check that contractor programmes reflect the full contracted scope.</li></ul><p>Qualifications and Experience</p><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.</li><li>At least 10 years of planning and scheduling experience on major infrastructure projects.
