The ideal candidate will execute dredging activities related to, dredging, reclamation projects within deadline and budget available. Ensure high quality, safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities Manage and be responsible for day to day dredging activities on a project Provide the Dredging Works manager with input for the development of the detailed project plan. Ensure that dredging activities are executed as per project plan. Provide weekly report to the Works Manager on milestones, work/ done, progress, budget, issues and planning. Delegate specific responsibilities to dredge supervisor and Sr. dredge masters(s) and analyze their daily reports. Assess performance and suggest efficiency improvement activities. Identify risks and appropriate mitigations; escalate if necessary to Works Monitor, evaluate and control activities of subcontractors Ensure cooperation between project team members and a smooth data/ information transfer to internal and if applicable, external stakeholders Coordinate and plan optimal staffing for dredging related activities Cooperate constructively, efficiently and effectively with Technical-, QA/HSE-, Estimation & Operational Advisory departments<br>Qualifications Engineering Master / bachelor's degree or an equivalent professional qualification5 years of experience on dredging projects in relevant role PMP certification will be an asset In depth understanding of dredging processes/use of dredging equipment/ land reclamation/ pipelines, cutter types, pick points etc Ability to transform raw data (CSV-files, loggings) into readable format and ability to interpret this format and come to relevant conclusion based on the converted raw date Implement dredging methodologies Analytic capability Leadership capabilities Ability interact with crew, SDMAbility to take responsibility and suggest decision based on the knows and unknowns Ability to link survey-results (calculation, heights, benchmarks, charts, tolerances, etc.) to contractual implications Ability to work autonomous Having a problem-solving mind and able to spread this attitude amongst his project team
