Contribute to the content, design and delivery and the quality of teaching and learning, in consultation with colleagues and within the international structures and mechanisms established by the University.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Deliver lectures and practical workshops on design technology and innovation frameworks.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Introduce students to technology-driven design principles, emphasising how emerging tools shape global products, services, and systems.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Support students in applying design thinking and technological methods to analyse user needs, evaluate concepts, and deliver innovative solutions.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Develop creative problem-solving skills by integrating strategic thinking with technical capabilities, enabling students to address real-world challenges within their projects.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Mentor and supervise students, providing effective, well-documented and timely feedback, both formative and summative. Provide pastoral support, recognising when to refer a student for further support. Roles and Responsibilities:Contribute to the development of the procurement plan, including required quantities, sourcing methods, estimated costs, delivery requirements and schedules, projected cash flow, and implementation follow-up. Implement the approved procurement plan in coordination with the Section Head, ensuring alignment with the established timeline and intended objectives. This role requires a strategic communications professional who can oversee the delivery of integrated, bilingual (Arabic and English) communications programs, while ensuring alignment across internal teams, client stakeholders, and external partners.<br>The successful candidate will sit at the heart of account delivery—driving strategic advisory, reputation management, and end-to-end communications execution across multiple government pillars—while maintaining strong oversight of reporting, timelines, and deliverables.<br>Job Responsibilities<br>Account & Stakeholder Management<br>- Serve as a day-to-day lead on the account, managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor<br><br>- Coordinate closely with the client’s internal communications teams, leadership, and external stakeholders<br><br>- Act as the central point of coordination across multiple workstreams, teams, and verticals<br><br>- Collaborate with internal APCO teams (media relations, content, translation, monitoring)<br><br>Strategic Communications & Advisory<br>- Support the development and execution of integrated communications strategies<br><br>- Provide strategic advisory on policy, AI, media landscape, and narrative positioning<br><br>- Contribute to positioning Abu Dhabi as a global leader in AI-driven government<br><br>- Content Development & Messaging<br><br>- Oversee development of bilingual content including press releases, op-eds, and messaging frameworks<br><br>- Ensure consistency of messaging across stakeholders<br><br>- Media Relations & External Engagement<br><br>- Support execution of media engagement strategies across markets<br><br>- Coordinate press events, briefings, and roundtables<br><br>- Identify speaking opportunities and stakeholder engagements<br><br>Project Management & Reporting<br>- Oversee communications plans across government programs<br><br>- Manage timelines, deliverables, and reporting cycles<br><br>- Ensure accurate reporting on performance and outcomes<br><br>Reputation & Crisis<br>- Support reputation management initiatives<br><br>- Contribute to crisis communications readiness<br><br>- Oversee media monitoring and analysis<br><br>- Team Coordination<br><br>- Ensure quality control of deliverables<br><br>- Support junior team members and foster collaboration<br><br>Requirements<br>- 5+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, or client servicing<br><br>- Experience managing complex projects, ideally within government environments<br><br>- Strong understanding of media relations and communications strategy<br><br>- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English<br><br>- Strong stakeholder management skills<br><br>- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines<br><br>- Excellent writing, presentation, and analytical skills<br><br>- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field<br><br>Careers at APCO<br>Through our recruitment, hiring and retention efforts, APCO is committed to building teams to bring the best possible expertise and robust perspectives to our clients.
