Role Description The Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations and record-keeping. <span>Black & Grey HR is seeking an ROV Data Processing Manager to join the client's offshore project delivery team on a permanent basis. You will manage the ROV data processing function, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of subsea inspection and survey data products across multiple offshore projects. The role serves as the technical authority for processed ROV data deliverables, leading the data processing team and ensuring compliance with client requirements and project standards.<br><br>This is a permanent position supporting offshore ROV and subsea project operations. The successful candidate will oversee data processing workflows from acquisition through final delivery, working closely with ROV supervisors, survey teams, project managers, and clients to ensure high-quality data products are delivered within project timelines.<br><br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br>1. ROV Data Processing Management<br><br>- Lead and manage the ROV data processing team, allocating workloads, establishing standards, and ensuring quality output across multiple projects<br><br>- Oversee processing and quality control (QC) of ROV-acquired data including inspection video, sonar imagery, pipeline and structure positioning data, and cathodic protection (CP) data<br><br>- Develop and maintain data processing workflows, procedures, software standards, and quality control processes<br><br>- Ensure processed data products meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards<br><br>- Manage data processing priorities and resources to support multiple concurrent offshore projects<br><br>2. Data Quality Assurance & Deliverables<br><br>- Review and approve final ROV data deliverables including inspection reports, GIS datasets, survey outputs, and client-specific data formats<br><br>- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, traceability, and completeness throughout the processing lifecycle<br><br>- Manage project data deliverable schedules, ensuring timely submission to clients and project teams<br><br>- Liaise with ROV supervisors, survey teams, and project managers to align acquisition requirements with processing timelines<br><br>- Support technical reviews and resolve data-related queries from project stakeholders and clients<br><br>3. Technical Leadership & Team Development<br><br>- Manage software licensing, hardware requirements, and system capabilities for ROV data processing operations<br><br>- Support client meetings, technical discussions, and presentations related to data processing methodologies, quality standards, and deliverables<br><br>- Mentor and develop data processing personnel, identifying training requirements and competency development opportunities<br><br>- Drive continuous improvement of data processing workflows, tools, and operational practices<br><br>- Ensure awareness and application of relevant industry standards and best practices<br><br></span><br><span>RequirementsEducation<br><br>- Degree in Marine Technology, Geomatics, Ocean Engineering, Hydrographic Survey, or a related discipline from a recognised institution<br><br>- Equivalent technical qualifications with significant ROV data processing experience will be considered<br><br>Experience<br><br>- 8–12 years of experience in ROV operations, subsea survey data processing, or offshore inspection data management<br><br>- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role<br><br>- Proven experience managing ROV data processing activities and delivering subsea inspection and survey data products<br><br>- Expert-level proficiency in ROV and survey data processing software such as Coda Octopus, EIVA, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or equivalent platforms<br><br>- Strong understanding of ROV inspection data, sonar processing, subsea positioning, GIS datasets, and offshore survey workflows<br><br>- Experience interfacing with ROV teams, survey personnel, project managers, and clients on technical data requirements<br><br>- ADNOC project exposure or experience supporting ADNOC-approved offshore operations is a strong advantage<br><br>Skills and Competencies<br><br>- Strong leadership and team management capabilities<br><br>- Excellent understanding of subsea data processing workflows and quality assurance requirements<br><br>- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables within strict timelines<br><br>- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills<br><br>- Excellent communication skills with technical teams, clients, and project stakeholders<br><br>- High attention to detail with strong focus on data accuracy and integrity<br><br>CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED<br><br>- BOSIET or HUET — required if offshore deployment is required.
