<p>Job Description</p><p>The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing project costs, budgeting, cost control, variations, claims, and contract administration to ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters. The role involves reviewing estimates, Bills of Quantities, progress payments, variation orders, and final accounts while ensuring compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and FIDIC standards. The position also supports project reporting, forecasting, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and project teams to maintain effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Develops and maintains systems for Design Consultant covering the areas of budgeting, cost control, estimating and reporting. </li><li>Reviews the various activities of construction projects about variations and submission for Management approvals. </li><li>Ensures that cost estimating and cost control requirements for variations are incorporated in the tender specification documents. </li><li>Reviews the cost estimates submitted by Consultant / Contractor and ensures compliance with Agreement, Contract drawings and specifications, and the accuracy of Company requirements.</li><li>Reviews the Bill of Quantities prepared by Design Consultants and Contractors and ensures that they are according to drawings and specifications. </li><li>Verifies project control budgets and updates them as required for Management approval. </li><li>Prepares and reviews the forecasts for the final project costs, including variations, considering the commitments. </li><li>Reviews and certifies progress payments and final accounts in coordination with the project team.</li><li>Prepares and updates cost data to review the cost estimates submitted by the Design Consultant. </li><li>Reviews final cost reports, assets registers, and project closeout reports for compliance with Contract requirements. </li><li>Reviews Change Requests, Contract Trend Notices, Variation Orders, Claims, etc. </li><li>Performs other similar or related duties, as assigned.</li><li>Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.</li></ul><p><br></p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>
