Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.3+ years of professional experience in management accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, accounting, or finance education is preferred. Deliver classroom instruction using various training platforms such as Simfinity, CBT, IPT, or traditional lectures, requiring periods of up to 8–10 hours of standing and/or sitting. Support curriculum and device development (simulators, FTDs, FMS trainers) when assigned, including evaluation, validation, and certification activities. If assigned to ground school duties, obtain and maintain FAA/EASA ground school and simulator instructor qualifications within approximately 12 months. This is a combined instruction and hands-on role which will have the instructor deliver lectures and work closely with the faculty and students in laboratories and workshops. In addition to the delivery of instructions and assessments, the Engineering Instructor set up the laboratory in preparation for experiments and maintain supplies and documentation.<br><br>Strategic Role<br><br> Analyze and comprehend operational organizational goals and strategies and how they relate to own function Generate ideas which contribute to the development of functional goals. Identify opportunities to enhance the implementation of operational goals Adapt to the business continuation practices and approaches developed to protect and restore the HCT resources and adjust best to the changing environment in times of any major change/ crisis to maintain a responsible and positive environment for the organization and the community as whole.<br><br>Operational Role<br><br> Deliver lectures and assessments to Diploma level courses in addition to lab duties. Develop and utilize various educational technology resources to ensure that effective and innovative instruction methodologies are employed. Assist in the development of labs, operational condition and maintenance of teaching equipment Support Faculty and students in using machines, tools and equipment within the laboratory Support Faculty and students in resourcing and implementation phase of student projects, as required Receive, installs and maintains laboratory equipment and supplies Maintain a schedule of preventative maintenance for all equipment and keeps adequate manuals and maintenance logs for equipment and parts. Provide teaching assistance to Engineering Technology Faculty during workshop & laboratory sessions Serve as a student advisor as assigned. Perform teaching duties as required Demonstrate the use of machines, tools and equipment within the lab Maintain consumable materials store and ensures adequate inventory levels for supplies Observe and reinforce safety and housekeeping procedures and protocol within the laboratory. Contribute to the development of the HCT by observing and implementing college and system-wide policies and procedures, and by participating in extra-curricular activities and community events. Travel to other HCT colleges to attend meetings, workshops and conferences as required. Develop an awareness and respect for the customs and cultures of HCT students and employees. Aid staff and students in the purchasing procedures with regards of equipment and parts for student projects Coordination with other Engineering Programs Follow through the financial aspects with the finance department concerning purchases for projects Perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Team Leader<br><br>Leadership Role<br><br> A demonstrated willingness to engage in professional development activities to develop and improve new and current skills and to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization Review work on a regular basis and provides constructive feedback Delegate tasks to subordinates and encourage them to take initiative within their scope of responsibilities. Membership to a relevant internationally recognized professional association is desirable Training certificates or diplomas in workshop practices is desirable<br><br>Experience<br><br> Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Preference will be given to candidates with Industrial experience, in the relevant engineering field. English proficiency is essential and Arabic proficiency is an advantage. Advanced computer literacy is required to integrate technology in the workplace. Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills. Previous short span teaching experience is desirable.
