About the role:<br>IT Compliance sits at the intersection of technology, regulation, and business — translating regulatory obligations into controls that work in a fast-moving fintech environment. This role owns IT audit readiness, gap assessments, and day-to-day IT Compliance work.<br><br><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><br><ul>

Description Du Poste Company Description<br><br>Joining SOCOTEC means joining an active and ambitious community of 14,000 experts (turnover of €1,8b in 2025 compared to €510M in 2016), players in the city of tomorrow, ready to take up new challenges in the field of Testing, Inspection and Certification in Construction, Infrastructure and Industry.<br><br>We provide risk management and technical consulting services and support our clients throughout the asset cycle.<br><br>Our objectives are to ensure their compliance, extend their lifespan, improve their environmental performance and guarantee the safety of people.<br><br>Job Description<br><br>Description of the Role<br><br>Provide Geotechnical engineering services as per UAE authority’s requirements, including but not limited to:<br><br>Be familiar with soil test work permit requirement, boreholes numbers& depth for different kind of buildings/ infrastructure, method statements and scope of work Review geotechnical investigation reports including shallow foundation and deep pile recommendations/calculations, liquefaction analysis, seismic design parameter as per Abu Dhabi code Review geophysical investigation reports using different methods (MASW-ERT-CHS-DHS) Review dewatering method statements and calculation/drawings Review soil improvement report, method statement and calculation, as well as various types of soil improvements technics (surface dynamic compaction, drainage methods, vibration methods, precompression and consolidation, grouting and injection, chemical stabilization, soil reinforcement, geo textiles and geo membranes, stone columns) and quality control test results, review all soil test results prior any site foundation work Review special foundations for buildings and structures (Micro piles, piling, raft,……etc) Review Shoring technics (diaphragm wall, secant piles, spaces piles with shotcrete, Berlin wall, nailed/anchored wall…) Create and analyse 2D and 3D models using computer applications notably Soil/Structure interaction PLAXIS 2D& 3DReview retaining structures (Concrete retaining walls, gabions walls, mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls Attend technical meetings as required by the project and the clients<br><br>Duties And Responsibilities<br><br><br><br>Be responsible for the delivery of the highest quality of work to SOCOTEC clients Deliver services within the timeframes dictated by the client and SOCOTECEnsure that work is carried out as per the relevant instructions Consistently exceed clients’ expectations Comply with SOCOTEC’s group policies and procedures Achieve and maintain the highest qualification levels determined by SOCOTEC for the relevant consultancy disciplines Take an active and full role in the quality assurance of services delivered by SOCOTEC through document review, supervision, audit and assessment of other staff members, providing support and leadership to the engineering team Stand out as a good example to all staff Undertake such other responsibilities that might reasonably be required by the company Ensure the highest standards of administration<br><br>Health And Safety Responsibilities<br><br>Comply with Socotec International and client quality, safety and environmental systems and procedures at all times Ensure that all accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is completed Work within the team to develop a culture where everyone embraces, upholds and accepts responsibility for a safe workplace, a healthy working life, a sustainable environment and the right and duty to intervene<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor in Geotechnical Engineering Experience with codes and local regulations, BS-ASTM-AASHTO codes for geotechnical works Great interpersonal skills Exceptional oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks Outstanding problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail Strong decision-making skills<br><br>Additional Information<br><br>This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of our company while developing your commercial skills in a dynamic international environment.
