<ol><li><p>Deliver classroom, practical, simulator and on-the-job training sessions to airport personnel in accordance with approved curricula and lesson plans</p></li><li><p>Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across departments to identify competency gaps and develop the annual training plan and training matrix</p></li><li><p>Ensure training programmes comply with GCAA CAR AGA requirements (including CAR Part TRG) and support the maintenance of the approved Aerodrome Training Programme</p></li><li><p>Assess trainee performance through tests, observations and practical evaluations, and provide constructive feedback</p></li><li><p>Prepare and update training materials, ensuring alignment with regulatory and airport requirements</p></li><li><p>Maintain audit-ready training records and evidence (attendance, assessments, certificates) and support regulatory audits and inspections</p></li><li><p>Report trainee progress, deficiencies and training issues to the Head of HR and Training. </p></li><li><p>Support continuous improvement through feedback on training programmes, materials and methodologies</p></li><li><p>Participate in instructor standardization sessions, refresher training and quality assurance reviews</p></li><li><p>Stay current with ICAO/GCAA regulatory changes, airport procedures and industry best practices</p></li></ol><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><br><ol><li><p>Minimum 5–8 years of experience in airport operations or aviation training</p></li><li><p>In-depth knowledge of ICAO and GCAA regulations, including CAR AGA and aerodrome training requirements (CAR Part TRG)</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience conducting Training Needs Analysis and building annual training plans/training matrices</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in curriculum development and training delivery</p></li><li><p>Experience preparing training records and evidence for regulatory audits (GCAA or equivalent CAA) an advantage</p></li><li><p>Certified instructor (Train the Trainer / Classroom Instructor Techniques or equivalent) preferred</p></li></ol>
<br><br><p>Candidates from general FMCG, food, packaging, tobacco trading, or other manufacturing industries <strong>without substantial cigarette manufacturing experience will not be considered.</strong></p><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage and oversee complete <strong>cigarette manufacturing operations</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Plan and control daily, weekly and monthly production activities.</p></li><li><p>Ensure achievement of <strong>production targets, efficiency and productivity</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Manage cigarette manufacturing lines, machinery and production processes.</p></li><li><p>Monitor <strong>machine performance, downtime, production losses and OEE</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with <strong>Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Engineering and Procurement</strong> departments.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with <strong>quality standards, SOPs, GMP and applicable regulatory requirements</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Control raw material consumption, production wastage and manufacturing costs.</p></li><li><p>Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce losses.</p></li><li><p>Lead, train and manage production personnel and supervisors.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and monitor production reports, KPIs and performance indicators.</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper implementation of <strong>health, safety and environmental requirements</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot production-related issues and coordinate corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Maintain smooth and uninterrupted factory operations.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Technical Experience</strong></p><p>Candidates with hands-on experience with cigarette manufacturing equipment and production lines, including machines such as <strong>HLP, SASIB, Mark 9, AMF</strong> and related cigarette-making and packing equipment, will be preferred.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Applications will be considered ONLY from candidates with extensive and proven experience specifically in the cigarette manufacturing industry.</p>
