<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) on construction projects, ensuring that all materials, workmanship, and construction activities comply with project specifications, contract requirements, applicable codes, and international quality standards.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.</p></li><li><p>Conduct inspections of civil, architectural, structural, and finishing works to ensure compliance with project specifications.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site engineers for inspections and approvals.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and quality documentation.</p></li><li><p>Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.</p></li><li><p>Identify non-conforming works (NCRs), investigate root causes, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.</p></li><li><p>Review material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements from a quality perspective.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all materials delivered to site meet project specifications and approved standards.</p></li><li><p>Maintain quality records, inspection reports, calibration certificates, test results, and quality logs.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate laboratory testing of construction materials such as concrete, soil, steel, and asphalt.</p></li><li><p>Participate in internal and external quality audits.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.</p></li><li><p>Monitor subcontractors' quality performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.</p></li><li><p>Attend project meetings related to quality matters.</p></li><li><p>Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for project management.</p></li><li><p>Assist during project handover and close-out by preparing quality dossiers and as-built documentation.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>.</p><p></p></section>
