The Senior Transportation Planning & Traffic Safety Engineer is responsible for leading transportation planning and traffic safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with international engineering standards and best practices. The role involves conducting technical reviews, supporting traffic engineering studies, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and government authorities to enhance road safety and traffic mobility. Experience The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, primarily in:Transportation Planning Traffic Engineering Traffic Safety Engineering Key Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Liaise with company representatives and government authorities to support and implement traffic and transportation safety improvements. Serve as the technical lead for traffic safety engineering assignments and provide technical guidance, supervision, and mentorship to junior engineering staff. Review and develop scopes of work for transportation-related studies and projects, including:Road Safety Audits (RSA) Traffic Impact Studies (TIS) Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Plans Other transportation engineering and traffic safety studies Provide technical support and engineering recommendations to internal and external stakeholders to improve traffic operations, mobility, and road safety.
