Job Description <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><br><br>
<p>1. Fully conversant with all hotel activities and facilities.<br>
2. Provide courteous and professional service at all times.<br>
3. Be well groomed at all times.<br>
4. Strive to please all guests and to continuously provide in-house facilities at every opportunity.<br>
5. Be able to sell the hotel’s products and promote sales within the hotel.<br>
6. Greet guests and visitors warmly with a smile.<br>
7. Coordinate with reception to execute arrivals and departures efficiently.<br>
8. Meet & welcome all arriving guests at the entrance of the hotel and escort/direct them to reception for check-in.<br>
9. Unload cars and cabs for all arriving guests.<br>
10. Transport guest’s luggage to rooms in an efficient manner ensuring no damage is caused to the luggage, furniture, fixtures and walls.<br>
11. Collect luggage at guest room for departing guests in a timely manner and bring the luggage to lobby for check out.<br>
12. Handle guest luggage in case of a room move.<br>
13. Promptly deliver messages within the hotel.<br>
14. Load cars and taxis for departing guests, ensuring a polite and courteous farewell.<br>
15. Maintain an accurate record of check-in and check-out rooms.<br>
16. Adhere to the hotel’s policy on the storage of guest luggage.<br>
17. Delivery morning newspapers to the rooms.<br>
18. Maintain accurate control and records of all luggage left in his/her care, by entering information on work sheets and log books.<br>
19. Ensure that all function boards are kept up to date.<br>
20. Always represent the hotel in a positive manner, by being polite, friendly, and professional while on duty.<br>
21. Have a full knowledge of other Dusit & Royal Princess Hotels & Resorts.<br>
22. Ensure all trolleys are clean at all times.<br>
23. Ensure hotel lobby is kept clean and tidy.<br>
24. Provide relieve for doorman on request.</p><br><br>
<p>25. Carries out Front Office requests for room changes, delivery of forms/reports or any other documents to the different sections of Dusit Hotel.<br>
