But don't worry! We don't require you to have a law background. What we are looking for is someone with an analytical mindset, who has great communication and time management skills, as well as an interest in data and technology.

A bit more about e Discovery and our team - Corporate litigation & investigations often involve tens of millions of documents and emails. Trans Perfect’s e Discovery team feeds these enormous volumes of data through a series of sophisticated software which culls them down into a manageable size for legal teams to review. The job really is getting in sync with all the specific and messy ways humans communicate online and then leveraging technology to uncover the needles in the haystack that support or defend a legal claim. The work is both really varied and interesting. One day you might be working on a Ukrainian Bribery matter and pharma patent claim; the next day an airline bankruptcy; the following a celebrity defamation lawsuit against a newspaper. The job requires considerable mental prowess and, in the interest of full disclosure, sometimes involves hours that mirror a lawyer's. Delivery Lead | Product Owner (AI Platform)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Contract format: 6 months extendable contract

Purpose of the role

Own the end-to-end delivery, from requirement definition through vendor build to client acceptance and adoption. The role sits between the client's business and data teams and the delivery vendors, and is accountable for keeping both sides aligned, informed, and moving.

This is a delivery and relationship role, not a technical build role. The single biggest determinant of success is the quality of communication with the client: whether meetings produce decisions, whether the client always knows where things stand, and whether issues surface early enough to be solved.

Key responsibilities

Stakeholder management — Own the relationship with client sponsors, department heads, end users, and data owners.

Meetings — Run every client meeting to a decision: agenda in advance, outcomes and owners captured, minutes within 24 hours

Communication — Keep the client informed on status, risks, and timelines. Escalate early, with a proposed resolution.

Requirements — Elicit, document, and secure sign-off on requirements, acceptance criteria, and data definitions.

Vendor management — Convert requirements into clear specifications, track delivery against milestones, and drive UAT to acceptance.

Problem solving — Unblock delivery issues and turn ambiguity into decisions that can be taken.

Adoption — Support training, process change, and handover so the use cases are used, not just delivered.

Essential requirements

6+ years in delivery, business analysis, consulting, or product ownership on technology programmes, including client-facing accountability.

Demonstrable experience delivering data, analytics, or AI/automation use cases end to end.

Proven ability to run productive meetings with senior stakeholders and to produce clear written communication.

Strong requirement elicitation and documentation skills, including user stories and acceptance criteria.

Experience managing third-party vendors or system integrators against a delivery plan.

Comfortable with ambiguity and competing priorities; takes initiative without waiting for direction.

Arabic and/or Chinese language ability.

Preferred

Experience with government or public sector clients in the UAE or wider GCC.

Domain exposure to urban planning, land use, permitting, or the built environment.

Working knowledge of BI and dashboarding tools, data governance, and data quality practice.

Understanding of AI/ML solution patterns sufficient to challenge vendors credibly.

Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, operating systems, and data storage systems supporting CCAO operations

Manage user accounts, access rights, and Active Directory/identity management in line with government data governance and security policies

Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime for citizen-facing and internal services

Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls (firewalls, endpoint protection, backups, patch management) in compliance with UAE government IT security standards (e.g., NESA/Signature/TDRA-aligned frameworks where applicable)

Administer email, collaboration platforms, and internal applications used for case management, correspondence, and coordination with federal/local entities

Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures for critical systems and citizen data

Provide technical support (Tier 2/3) to staff, troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues, and manage IT helpdesk escalations

Maintain documentation of IT assets, configurations, policies, and procedures

Coordinate with external vendors, telecom providers, and government IT bodies (e.g., TDRA, Abu Dhabi Digital Authority) on infrastructure, licensing, and integration projects

Support digital transformation initiatives, including e-services and system integrations tied to CCAO's citizen and community programs

Ensure compliance with UAE data protection and government information security regulations

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

3–6 years' experience as a System Administrator, preferably in a government or public sector entity

Strong knowledge of Windows Server/Linux administration, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls), and Active Directory

Experience with backup/DR solutions, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/G42 Cloud), and cybersecurity best practices

Familiarity with UAE government IT compliance frameworks (e.g., Abu Dhabi Digital Authority policies, NESA standards) is a strong advantage

Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Server+/Security+, CCNA, or ITIL are preferred

Fluent in Arabic and English (Arabic often required/preferred for UAE federal entities)

UAE national or resident with relevant work eligibility (many UAE Presidential Court–affiliated entities prioritize Emiratization)

Key Competencies

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

High attention to security, confidentiality, and data sensitivity (government/citizen data)

Ability to work under government protocols and coordinate across federal/local authorities

Good communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
