A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with an additional two (2) years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. • At least seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in drug treatment, toxicology, addiction treatment, rehabilitation, social reintegration, public health, research, statistical analysis or related fields, is required. • Experience in delivering academic or professional training, including curriculum development and lecture delivery is required. • Knowledge in the field of drug control, particularly the international regime on both drug control and crime prevention (conventions, standards and norms), is desirable. • Experience in delivering training and/or technical assistance in the GCC and or the MENA region is desirable.<br> Languages<br>• English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English and Arabic is required.
