Associate, you will undertake the delivery of complex projects across the full spectrum of advisory activities under minimal direction while managing a team and leading one or more project teams, delivering consulting services across a cross section of areas.</p><br><p>Other practice areas within our Advisory business includes Asset, Project Monitoring, P3 Technical, Program, Strategy+, across built asset and infrastructure sectors.</p><br><p><strong>Desirable Knowledge and Expertise</strong></p><br><p>Candidates will be expected to possess deep expertise in one or more of the following:</p><br><ul><li>Good working knowledge of Middle East design and construction projects, conditions of contract and contractual issues.</li><li>Demonstrable skills in the implementation and monitoring of project risk management on building and infrastructure projects.</li><li>Familiarity with risks associated with new and refurbishment projects.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of project risks associated throughout the project life cycle, together with experience of preparing and implementing suitable risk management strategies.</li><li>Must be capable of chairing risk meetings and following up with project team members at all levels.</li><li>Familiarity with risk management software used for recording and reporting risk.</li><li>Demonstratable skill in quantitative cost risk for:</p><br><ul><li>Initiate, manage and coordinate risk management activities across all stages of projects.</li><li>Chair / facilitate risk management meetings.</li><li>Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors and consultancy team members on risk management activities at all levels.</li><li>Monitor risk registers and trends across multiple projects within a program of works.</li><li>Create and maintain risk registers for projects (in formats approved by the clients).</li><li>Advise clients on risk management strategies and appropriate mitigation plans.</li><li>Work with the team to provide cost information to enable quantitative assessment of risks.</li><li>Recommend adjustments to risk registers (as necessary).</li><li>Advise clients on Risk Management best practices and improvements.</li><li>Lead and deliver all aspects of services from inception of a project through to completion.</li><li>Achieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the company.</li><li>Drive performance standards and technical excellence through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process and AECOM technical practice networks.</li><li>Maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.</li><li>Actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects.</li><li>As an Associate you will also be actively involved developing marketing opportunities and where appropriate bring to the attention of Directors and the
