You will support our Subject Matter Experts in providing strategic consultancy advice to clients on live contracts and projects, whilst contributing to the growth of our high-performing Contract Services division.</p><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Provide expert contract management and consultancy services across a variety of construction sectors and project types, demonstrating hands-on experience with standard forms of contract including FIDIC and other recognized contract suites</li><li>Develop and implement comprehensive contract administration strategies, managing contract development, pre-contract and post-contract requirements from award through completion, including take-over of works and final assessment</li><li>Review and approve contractor and subcontractor submissions for compliance with primary contract requirements, whilst establishing and implementing contractor and consultant performance management frameworks</li><li>Lead contractual negotiations and provide strategic commercial guidance to project managers, services managers, and programme directors, managing relationships proactively to identify optimization opportunities</li><li>Specialize in claims management and dispute resolution services, including compiling comprehensive claim reports, undertaking performance forensics analysis, and supporting arbitration and/or litigation processes</li><li>Apply methodical analytical skills to dispute avoidance and resolution, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to service delivery under challenging scenarios on projects in distress</li><li>Provide confident client-facing consultancy support with strong presentational skills, communicating complex contractual and commercial information clearly to diverse stakeholders</li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><br><ul><li>15+ years of post-graduate progressive experience in contract administration and management within major civil and infrastructure projects</li><li>Substantial hands-on experience with international contracting mechanisms, particularly FIDIC suite of contracts and other recognized standard forms</li><li>Proven expertise in claims management and dispute resolution across complex, multi-party contracts</li><li>Demonstrated track record administrating multiple concurrent contracts on large-scale real estate and infrastructure projects</li><li>Established experience developing and implementing comprehensive contract administration strategies from pre-contract through completion and final assessment</li><li>Proven capability in establishing and managing contractor and consultant performance management frameworks</li><li>Demonstrated experience reporting to Boards, senior management, and higher authorities on contract performance and commercial matters</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, OR membership of a recognized International Professional Body (e.g., MRICS, RICS, or equivalent)</li><li>Fluency in English language, both written and spoken, with exceptional report writing and presentation capabilities</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite and contract administration software</li><li>Extensive analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail</li><li>Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable commercial outcomes whilst maintaining positive stakeholder relationships</li><li>Strong leadership and team management abilities with experience mentoring and developing professionals</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing demands</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Previous experience working on projects in the Middle East region is an advantage</li><li>Knowledge of risk management, budget management, and cost control processes in infrastructure delivery</li><li>Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement on complex project</li></ul><br>Additional Information<br><p>Join our social media conversations for more information about Turner & Townsend and our exciting future projects: </p><br><p>Twitter</p><br><p>Instagram</p><br><p>LinkedIn</p><br><p><em>It is strictly against Turner & Townsend policy for candidates to pay any fee in relation to our recruitment process.
