<ul><li><p>Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes and expected quantities.</p></li><li><p>Store goods safely and efficiently, ensuring stock is correctly labelled, organised and easy to locate.</p></li><li><p>Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and within required timeframes.</p></li><li><p>Load and unload vehicles safely, following manual handling procedures and site safety requirements.</p></li><li><p>Carry out stock counts and regular inventory checks, reporting discrepancies, damaged goods or shortages promptly.</p></li><li><p>Update stock records, delivery documents and warehouse systems accurately.</p></li><li><p>Use warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks, trolleys, scanners and other tools, safely and effectively.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a clean, tidy and organized warehouse, ensuring aisles, storage areas and workspaces remain safe and accessible.</p></li><li><p>Assist with returns, transfers, recycling and the safe disposal of damaged or obsolete stock.</p></li><li><p>Follow company procedures relating to health and safety, security, quality control and manual handling.</p></li><li><p>Support other warehouse and logistics activities as required by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Previous experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Stock Controller, Stores Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Experience receiving deliveries, picking and packing orders, stock control and general warehouse operations.</p></li><li><p>Ability to handle goods safely and carry out physical work, including lifting, moving and loading items when required.</p></li><li><p>Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate stock and delivery records.</p></li><li><p>Basic computer skills and confidence using warehouse management systems, inventory software or handheld scanners.</p></li><li><p>Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy warehouse environment.</p></li><li><p>Reliable, punctual, team-oriented and willing to take a hands-on approach.</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, drivers, suppliers and other departments.</p></li></ul>
