The Senior Field Security Associate will support the direct supervisor in establishing and maintaining an appropriate an appropriate level of security awareness in Tunisia.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with country United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) office, host government agencies, and local authorities responsible for security, in order to obtain up-to-date security-related information that is beneficial to Tunisia. </p> </li> <li> <p>Assist the Chief of Mission in collecting, updating and communicating information regarding the security situation in Tunisia. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Provide support to the CoM in managing the Operational, Human Resources, Administrative, Financial and Supply Chain functions of the Sub-Office(Zarzis) in accordance with the IOM s rules and regulations, and streamline the implementation of institutional procedures across the Sub-Office.</p>
<p>Contribute to the management, recruitment, training and capacity building of Sub-Office s staff and third-party contractors, if applicable, based on programme assessment, available budget and performance indicators.</p>
<p>Participate in meetings with Government Authorities, International Organizations, non-governmental organizations, voluntary agencies, as well as public media and Private Sector. </p>
