<li><span>Review and monitor prevention and precautions in risk registers and/or hazard logs for adequate control of, exposure to hazardous substances, and danger from flammable, explosive, electrical, noise, radiation and manual handling risks.</span></li>
<li><span>Ensure all new starters receive a full departmental induction and all necessary training for them to become competent in their role within their probation period in conjunction with the Training Department.</span></li>
<li><span>Review con-conformances raised against the department regularly and assign resource to close out overdue non-conformances (NCs) within agreed timescales.</span></li>
<li><span>Lead, manage and motivate the team, including coaching departmental supervisors or team leaders.</span></li>
<li><span>Complete annual and mid-year appraisals and identify any sub-standard performance or behaviour and ensure corrective action through employee development plans.</span></li>
<li><span>Undertake on-call duties as per roster and report notifiable incidents to department leads, Key stakeholders, Regulatory agencies and QHSE Director (where required).</span></li>

<li><span>Ensure compliance with internal procedures, Engineering and Maintenance processes.</span></li>
<li><span>Support implementation and operation of the paperless ACCA process.</span></li>
<li><span>Identify and report opportunities for process and system improvements.</span></li>
