Business Development Director AI Creative Studio · Omni VAI · Dubai, UAE · Full-time, On-site
We’re looking for someone who opens doors we haven’t knocked on yet.
About us Omni VAI is a UAE-licensed creative studio specialising in cinematic AI production. We produce commercial films, campaigns, and brand systems for clients across the GCC and the wider region — from global brands to real-estate developers and government entities. We deliver in days what traditional production takes weeks to do, at a fraction of the cost.
We are also building a proprietary AI creative platform, launching in 2027. The studio is the business today; the platform is where it goes next.
The role You own commercial growth for the studio. This is a build-from-zero role — no inherited pipeline, no existing playbook. You will create both.
What you’ll do• Open genuinely new accounts — companies with no prior relationship with us. This is the primary measure of the role• Build the pipeline from scratch: research, cold outreach, first meetings, qualified opportunities• Focus on three defined sectors agreed in your first two weeks, rather than spreading thin• Close annual production contracts with brands, developers, and government entities• Run the full cycle yourself: prospect, pitch, proposal, negotiation, close• Navigate UAE and KSA public-sector procurement: vendor registration, tenders, compliance documentation• Build the CRM, pipeline discipline, and weekly reporting• Bring the market back to the team: pricing objections, client requirements, competitor moves- As our AI platform approaches launch, identify enterprise licensing opportunities within the accounts you open — the same clients, a second revenue line
What you need• 5+ years in B2B sales or business development in the UAE or KSA, with closed deals you can walk us through in detail• A proven record of new-logo acquisition, not managing an existing account portfolio• Direct experience selling retainers or recurring contracts — not one-off project sales• The stamina to work a single deal for four to six months without losing momentum• Native or near-native English, written and spoken. Proposals, pitches, and correspondence with international clients are written in English, and “very good” is not the standard here• Native-level Arabic — the language of meetings and government dealings• Proven access to at least one of: advertising agencies, production houses, real-estate developers, telcos, or government entities• You present our work and pitch decks yourself, without needing someone from the creative team in the room• Working knowledge of AI production tools, and the ability to explain their value to a non-technical client• UAE driving licence
Nice to have• A background in advertising agencies or production houses• Experience responding to government RFPs• Existing relationships in Dubai Media City or Dubai Studio City• Study or prior work in an English-speaking environment
What we offer• Competitive base salary, uncapped commission on annual contracts, and additional bonuses on new accounts• Direct reporting to the founder, with real authority over pricing and scope• A founding role at a company building an entirely new way to produce work in this region
How to apply Email your CV to info@omnivai.ai with the subject line “BD — Dubai”. In three sentences, tell us about the last client you opened from scratch — a company with no prior relationship with you — how you reached the decision-maker, and how long it took from first contact to signature. Applications without this will not be reviewed.

For one of our product, Zamanat.
About Zamanat:Zamanat is a Sharia-aligned real-world asset tokenisation platform. We structure and tokenise assets across funds, private credit, real estate and receivables, then distribute them through institutional, private wealth and on-chain channels. We are building the commercial engine for our first fund and related asset-backed mandates. The role is hands-on, commercial and execution-led.
The Role:We are hiring a Senior Manager / Associate Director, Institutional Distribution & Web3 Partnerships to help build demand for Zamanat's tokenised investment products. The role covers two parallel channels. First, traditional distribution: GCC family offices, HNWIs, Islamic investors, private banks, wealth platforms, Takaful operators, awqaf and selected institutional allocators. Second, Web3 distribution: digital asset managers, crypto-native funds, on-chain treasuries, regulated exchanges, OTC desks, custodians, tokenisation platforms and liquidity partners.
This is not a "Head of Sales" role and not a pure relationship-management seat. We need someone who can build pipeline, qualify investors, open relevant relationships, support product positioning and convert conversations into subscriptions, mandates or commercial partnerships.
What You Will Do:Build and manage a qualified pipeline across GCC allocators and Web3 distribution channels. Originate investor and partner conversations with family offices, institutions, digital asset managers, exchanges, OTC desks and custody platforms. Support distribution for Zamanat's upcoming fund and wider tokenised RWA pipeline. Convert introductions into clear next steps: diligence, term sheets, subscriptions, mandates or partnership discussions. Work with the CEO and structuring team to shape investor materials, product positioning and go-to-market strategy. Maintain CRM discipline, meeting notes, pipeline status, conversion probability and weekly reporting. Provide market feedback on ticket sizes, investor appetite, objections, liquidity expectations, fee structures and Sharia requirements. Represent Zamanat at selected investor meetings, industry events and partner discussions.
Candidate Profile:You have 8-12 years of experience in institutional sales, business development, investor relations, capital raising, private banking, wealth management, fintech, digital assets or fund distribution. You have current, usable relationships in at least one of these markets:GCC family offices, HNWIs and private wealth channels. Islamic investors, Takaful, awqaf or Sharia-sensitive allocators. Banks, wealth platforms, asset managers or institutional allocators. Digital asset managers, crypto funds, exchanges, OTC desks, custodians, tokenisation platforms or on-chain treasuries. You understand the difference between access and conversion. We are looking for someone who has helped raise capital, build AUM, close commercial partnerships or generate revenue, not someone who only attends events. You do not need to be a structuring expert, but you must be able to discuss funds, tokenisation, custody, private markets, investor onboarding and Sharia-aligned products with credibility.
Required Experience:8-12 years in institutional sales, BD, investor relations, capital raising, private banking, wealth, fintech or digital assets. Demonstrable track record of capital raising, AUM growth, revenue generation, mandate origination or partnership conversion. Current relationships across GCC investors, institutions or Web3 distribution channels. Exposure to at least one of: private credit, real estate funds, structured products, tokenised assets, digital asset custody, exchanges, OTC flows or fund distribution. Familiarity with ADGM, DIFC, DFSA, FSRA or VARA environments. Strong written follow-up, CRM discipline and ability to manage multiple live conversations.
Preferred Experience:Sharia-aligned investment products, sukuk, Islamic finance or ethical investment screening. Tokenisation, digital asset custody, exchange listings, OTC liquidity or on-chain distribution. Relationships across UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Asia or Sub-Saharan Africa. Experience in an early-stage company, new product launch or market-entry role.
What Success Looks Like:In the first 90 days, you will have mapped priority investor and Web3 channels, activated your strongest relationships, built a live pipeline and supported early fund / mandate distribution. In the first 6-12 months, success means qualified capital conversations, active diligence processes, signed commercial partnerships, subscriptions or mandates, and a repeatable distribution playbook for Zamanat.
What We Offer:Competitive fixed compensation. Performance-linked bonus tied to closed AUM, fee revenue and qualified conversion. Direct exposure to the CEO, product strategy and fund launch. A role at the intersection of Islamic finance, private markets, tokenisation and Web3 distribution.
