<p><strong>Role : </strong><span><span><strong>Relationship Manager - Commercial Cards</strong></span></span><br><strong>Location :</strong> Dubai <br><strong>Role Purpose:</strong><br><span><span>Relationship Manager, Commercial Cards is responsible to drive acquisition, portfolio growth, and relationship management of Commercial Card solutions (Corporate, Purchasing, Travel & Expense cards) for corporate clients, ensuring Shariah-compliant structures, superior client experience, and sustainable revenue growth in line with the bank’s Islamic principles.</span></span><br> <br><strong>Key Accountabilities of the role </strong><br> </p><br><ul><li><span>Client Acquisition & Relationship Management</span></li><li><span>Acquire and manage corporate clients for commercial card solutions.</span></li><li><span>Build long-term relationships with CFOs, finance teams, and procurement heads.</span></li><li><span>Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring high service standards and retention.</span></li><li><span>Product Sales & Portfolio Growth</span></li><li><span>Promote Shariah-compliant Commercial Card products including Corporate, Purchase, and Expense Management cards.</span></li><li><span>Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and portfolio growth targets.</span></li><li><span>Assess client financials, creditworthiness, and card limit requirements in coordination with Credit Risk teams.</span></li><li><span>Ensure compliance with Islamic banking principles, internal policies, and UAE Central Bank regulations.</span></li><li><span>Monitor portfolio performance, utilization, delinquency, and take proactive corrective actions.</span></li><li><span>Client Onboarding & Account Management</span></li><li><span>Coordinate onboarding, documentation, and KYC/AML requirements.</span></li><li><p><span>Oversee card issuance, limit enhancements, renewals, and periodic reviews.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Resolve client queries, service issues, and escalations in a timely manner.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Work closely with Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and IT teams to deliver seamless client solutions.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Prepare regular MIS reports on sales performance, pipeline, and portfolio health.</span></span></p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:</strong><br> </p><br><ul><li><span>3 – 5 years of experience in Commercial Cards, Transaction Banking, or Corporate/SME Banking</span></li><li><span>Prior experience in an Islamic Bank or Shariah-compliant products is highly desirable</span></li><li><span>Strong understanding of UAE corporate market and regulatory environment</span></li><li><span>Strong relationship management and consultative selling skills</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of commercial card solutions and expense management systems</span></li><li><span>Financial analysis and credit assessment skills</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication and presentation skills</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems</span></li><li><span>Client-centric and results-driven</span></li><li><span>Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills</span></li><li><span>Ability to work independently and collaboratively</span></li></ul><p><strong>Previous experience required (if any)</strong></p><br><ul><li><p><span>A minimum of 3-5 years’ industry experience</span> <span>of Commercial Cards, Transaction Banking, or Corporate/SME Banking</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>University degree</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Understanding of marketing dynamics including demographic factors, competitor products and services and customer experience</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of the UAE Cards market and main competitors </span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Ability to identify opportunities, negotiate and analyze post campaign results </span></p><br></li></ul><br> </div>
