JOB PURPOSETo drive growth of RAKGAS gas business by acquiring new pipeline gas customers, expanding business with existing industries, and promoting Ras Al Khaimah as a preferred destination for gas consuming industries. The role will lead market outreach, customer engagement, and strategic initiatives to attract industrial investments and FDIs that create long-term gas demand and support the company's growth objectives.<br>KEY RESPONISIBILITIES Business Development and Sales: Lead Generation: Actively identify and generate leads through networking, customer visits, industry events, market intelligence, and digital/market outreach to develop a strong pipeline of prospective gas customers. Customer Acquisition: Identify, engage, and secure new gas customers for pipeline gas solutions. The primary focus will be industrial sector. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive customer acquisition, increase gas sales volumes, and support achievement of annual business targets. Commercial Proposals & Negotiations: Prepare commercial proposals, business cases, presentations, and negotiate gas supply and gas connection agreements and commercial terms with customers. Investment Promotion: Engage with investors, free zones, industrial developers, and government stakeholders to attract gas-consuming industries and foreign direct investments to Ras Al Khaimah. Frequent participations in various exhibitions and relevant events for this purpose. Market Analysis and Strategic Development:Market Intelligence: Monitor local and international market trends, industrial developments, competitor activities, alternative fuel economics, and regulatory changes impacting the gas business. Opportunity Assessment: Identify new industrial projects, manufacturing investments, and strategic growth opportunities that can generate future gas demand. Business Planning: Support preparation of business plans, growth strategies, budgets, financial forecasts, and management presentations for the Gas Business. Contract and Commercial Management: Contract Management: Draft, modify, and manage gas supply contracts. Documentation: Managing and record keeping of all contractual documentation and approvals as per the company process. Credit Compliance: Ensuring timely receipt of payments and payment security from the new customers as per the agreements and company’s credit policy. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Customer Onboarding and Stakeholder Coordination Customer Onboarding: Coordinate with engineering, operations, projects, finance, legal, and HSE teams to facilitate customer onboarding and gas connection activities. Project Coordination: Monitor progress of customer connection projects and ensure alignment between customer requirements and project execution plans. Support Project manager to coordinate with contractors and customers to ensure timely completion of the gas connection project. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with government authorities, free zones, industrial associations, consultants, and strategic partners to support business growth.<br>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:Bachelors in Engineering, preferably Oil &Gas, Energy, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field Candidates having post-graduation (MBA) in Business/Marketing management will be preferred7-10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial, Account Management, or Marketing. Candidates having at least 5 years of natural gas business development experience will be preferred. Experience in the natural gas, utilities, energy, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or related sectors preferred. Proven track record in customer acquisition, contract negotiations, and revenue growth. Experience engaging with industrial customers, investors, government entities, and strategic stakeholders. Knowledge of UAE/Middle East energy/gas sector would be preferred. Willingness to travel within the UAE and internationally, as required, for customer visits, business development activities, industry events and stakeholder meetings. This is essential requirement for targeting new investments in Ras Al Khaimah. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power Point. Experience with CRM systems, market intelligence platforms, and sales pipeline management process is preferred.

Lead incident investigations using advanced methods like Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or Tap Roo T, and track corrective actions. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, depending on project requirements. Minimum 10–15 years of relevant commissioning experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Offshore, or EPC projects. Proven experience in a Lead Commissioning Engineer or equivalent senior commissioning role. Strong experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
