About Zamanat Zamanat is a Sharia-aligned real-world asset tokenisation platform. We structure and tokenise assets across funds, private credit, real estate and receivables, then distribute them through institutional, private wealth and on-chain channels.
We have applied for a DIFC tokenised credit fund and run a live structuring pipeline across receivables, fund and real-estate mandates in MENA, GCC and selected emerging markets. The structuring lead is a foundational role.
AI-driven playbooks are a core part of Zamanat's growth strategy. We are building a structuring function where AI tools compress time-to-launch, accelerate documentation, and turn one-off deals into repeatable products. The right hire is hungry to learn, prototype and embed AI tooling into the structuring workflow.

The Role We are hiring a Director, Structuring & Origination to lead deal structuring across Zamanat's live and forward pipeline, originate new mandates, and build the structuring playbook that compresses our time-to-launch on every subsequent deal. The role is hands-on today. It is also on a clear path to Senior Director or MD as deal pipeline, AUM and team scale. The right person executes deals personally now and grows into running a structuring desk over the next 18 to 36 months. This is not a pure origination seat and not a back-office structuring seat. We need someone who can hold a term sheet, a Sharia structure, a regulator conversation, a sponsor relationship and a documentation pack in the same week.

What You Will DoLead end-to-end structuring on live mandates across receivables financing, private credit, fund tokenisation and asset-backed structures Originate new mandates alongside the CEO and BD lead, primarily across MENA, GCC, South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa Codify Zamanat's structuring playbooks. The 12-month KPI is three named playbooks in production use Build AI-assisted structuring tooling and templates: use AI to fast-track documentation, term-sheet drafting, scenario modelling, Sharia structure checks, and deal pattern recognition across the playbook library Own commercial term-sheet design, fee structures and economic alignment with sponsors and partners Run Sharia structuring decisions in close coordination with appointed Sharia advisors. Murabaha, Wakala, Sukuk, Ijara, Musharaka and hybrid structures as relevant Oversee post-issuance servicing on SME and receivables programmes including servicing, reporting, performance monitoring and remediation triggers Work with regulatory counsel and partner licence-holders on jurisdictional execution (ADGM, DIFC, DFSA, FSRA, and selected emerging-market regulators) Manage the deal-team relationship with fund administrators, custodians, tokenisation tech partners and Sharia advisors Build and lead the structuring team as pipeline conversion supports it.
Candidate Profile You have 10 to 14 years of experience in structured finance, capital markets, Islamic finance, private credit, securitisation, receivables financing or specialist arranging. You have personally led deals through structuring, documentation and closing, not just sat on the desk while others closed them. You can run the playbook today and build the team that runs it tomorrow. You understand both the commercial logic of a deal and the structural mechanics that make it executable. You are comfortable with ambiguity, lean teams and shaping a function from scratch. You are hungry to learn and apply AI tooling to your work. You see AI as core leverage on structuring throughput, not a side experiment.
Required Experience10 to 14 years in structured finance, capital markets, sukuk, Islamic finance, private credit, securitisation, receivables financing or specialist arranging Demonstrable Sharia-structured execution on live deals. Murabaha, Wakala, Sukuk or Ijara applied in production, not theoretical. Capital markets experience including debt capital markets, sukuk issuance, structured notes or asset-backed transactions Receivables financing, factoring, supply-chain finance or working-capital programme experience. Strong commercial judgement on term sheets, fee structures and sponsor economics. Experience working across ADGM, DIFC, DFSA, FSRA or comparable GCC and MENA regulatory environments. Ability to manage external counsel, fund administrators, custodians and partner licence-holders. Willingness to learn and embed AI tools in day-to-day structuring work. Comfortable using AI for documentation, scenario testing, term-sheet drafting, structure comparison and pattern recognition across deal libraries.
Preferred Experience Private markets experience including private credit funds, real-estate funds, infrastructure or alternatives Tokenisation, digital assets or blockchain-based issuance exposure Direct relationships with mid-market issuers, sponsors, asset managers and private credit originators across MENA, GCC, South Asia or Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior experience codifying structuring playbooks, templates or repeat-issuance frameworks. Existing exposure to AI tools applied to financial work (deal review, documentation drafting, model build, research synthesis). Team build and leadership experience. Comfort operating without a large platform underneath, in an early-stage operating company

What Success Looks Like In the first 90 days, you will have taken ownership of the live structuring book, mapped the forward pipeline, locked priority deal sequencing, started the first playbook codification, and identified the first two or three AI tooling levers for the structuring workflow. In the first 12 months, success means closed mandates with locked fee economics, the first three named structuring playbooks in production, AI tooling embedded in at least two playbooks (with measurable time-to-launch compression), a working post-issuance servicing model on receivables programmes, and a hiring case for the next structuring team member.

What We Offer Competitive fixed compensation. Performance-linked bonus tied to closed mandates, structuring fee revenue and playbook delivery. Equity or carry participation aligned to long-term value creation Clear trajectory to Senior Director or MD as pipeline, AUM and team scale. Direct exposure to the CEO, partners, sponsors and Sharia governance. A foundational role in building a Sharia-aligned tokenisation platform from the structuring layer up, with AI tooling embedded into the workflow from inception.
