Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Accounting, Risk, Compliance or a related discipline.8+ years of relevant compliance experience within financial services, capital markets, investment firms, brokerage, asset management or a similarly regulated environment. Strong understanding of UAE financial services regulatory requirements and experience working with one or more applicable UAE regulators. Good knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions, market conduct, conflicts of interest and regulatory compliance frameworks. Experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, policy development, risk assessment and remediation. Strong understanding of capital markets products and activities would be advantageous. Relevant professional qualifications such as CAMS, ICA, CISI, ACAMS or equivalent would be advantageous. Strong analytical, communication, report-writing and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and appropriately escalate regulatory and compliance matters.
