<ul><li><p>Operational Health & Safety Leadership: Provide expert guidance on Operational Health & Safety, KORE, and Environmental/Regulatory Compliance for RTM & Warehouses. Drive the team to maintain and comply with the ISO requirements. lead the Global Audit Organization, internal and external audit. Manage the high hazard routine and non-routine activities in RTM and warehousing activities.
· Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of legal, regulatory, and company requirements, and communicate pertinent changes to management and staff.
· Road Safety Strategy: Implement and advocate for the GCCB and TCCC Road Safety strategy, spearheading initiatives to reduce casualties and ensure the RTM 3PL vendors aligned with Coca-Cola (KORE) requirements. managed to update the policies and procedures on regular basis. Develop and implement annual RTM safety strategies.
· Team Management: Manage Road Safety requirements for field and depot associates, overseeing supervision, training, and motivation.
· Performance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure performance aligns with agreed targets and Key performance indicators, efficiently managing PPE and other resources.
· Data Analysis: Analyze casualty data and provide insights for casualty reduction policy, strategy, and initiatives. Consolidate the GCCB RTM safety data for monthly, quarterly safety reports.
· External Collaboration: Establish and maintain connections with external organizations and agencies, researching ways to minimize casualties.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to casualty reduction. Conduct regular warehouses and route to marker visit.
· Safety Index Improvement: Lead efforts to enhance GCCB Fleet Safety Index and conduct warehouse safety assessments.
· KPI Monitoring: Monitor and report on RTM Safety KPIs, spearhead digital safety initiatives, and provide staff training on environmental and safety programs.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Education: Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene & Environmental Engineering or related.</p></li><li><p>Certifications: Specialist/Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), NEBOSH, or IOSH. Training in Fire Fighting and Road Safety.</p></li><li><p>Experience: At least 6-8 years of experience in environmental and safety management, especially in logistics, warehouse and route-to-market, preferably in the food and beverage industry.</p></li><li><p>Additional Requirements:</p><p>o Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</p><p>o One-year experience as full-time CLI/RLI - industrial safety. Alternatively, NIITE PG in Industrial Safety is also acceptable.</p></li></ul>
<p><strong>1. HSE Implementation & Compliance </strong></p><ul><li><p>Implement company HSE policies, procedures, and project safety plans. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with local ADPHC regulations, client requirements, & international standards (OSHA, ISO). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitor work activities to ensure safe practices are followed. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure compliance with UAE (Abu Dhabi) safety regulations and company HSE policies </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, and consultants on HSE matters </p></li></ul><br><p><strong>2. Site Inspections & Risk Management </strong></p><ul><li><p>Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Carry out risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitor high-risk activities (lifting, working at height, confined space). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify hazards </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) system implementation </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain safety documentation and records </p></li></ul><br><p><strong>3. Training & Awareness </strong></p><ul><li><p>Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Promote safety awareness campaigns and initiatives. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Guide supervisors and workers on safe practices. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) </p><br></li></ul><p>4. <strong>Incident Management & Reporting</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain HSE records and documentation. </p><br></li></ul><p>5. <strong>Emergency Preparedness</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Ensure emergency procedures are in place and understood. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Participate in emergency drills and response planning. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Coordinate with first aiders and emergency teams. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Additional responsibilities as assigned by the line manager. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Stop unsafe work activities when required </p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.</p></li><li><p><strong>Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH)</strong> registration is mandatory </p></li><li><p>NEBOSH IGC or equivalent is mandatory.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of building construction safety practices in the UAE.</p></li><li><p>Risk assessment and hazard identification skills.</p></li><li><p>Investigation and reporting skills.</p></li><li><p>Good communication and training skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to conduct training and toolbox talks.</p></li><li><p>Good documentation and reporting skills.</p></li><li><p>Leadership and problem-solving ability.</p></li></ul>
