A poultry farming company is seeking an experienced Poultry Veterinarian to oversee flock health and support production across its breeder and broiler farms.
This is a hands-on position requiring practical experience in both breeder parent-stock management and commercial broiler production.
Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the UAE and available for an in-person interview.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and implement flock-health, vaccination, biosecurity and disease-prevention programmes.
• Conduct routine farm inspections, post-mortem examinations, diagnostic sampling and disease investigations.
• Oversee breeder health during rearing and production, monitoring bodyweight, uniformity, feeding, lighting, male management, fertility, hatchability and hatching-egg quality.
• Monitor broiler performance from chick placement to depletion, including chick quality, brooding, weight gain, feed conversion, mortality and flock uniformity.
• Work with farm managers to improve ventilation, litter conditions, water quality, sanitation and bird welfare.
• Coordinate with hatchery, nutrition and laboratory teams to investigate performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train farm staff, monitor compliance with farm procedures and maintain accurate treatment, flock-health and production records.

Requirements
• Recognised degree in Veterinary Medicine — DVM, BVSc or equivalent. An agriculture or animal-production degree alone does not meet this requirement.
• Minimum five years of hands-on poultry veterinary experience, with proven experience in both breeder and broiler farms.
• Strong practical knowledge of poultry diseases, vaccination, biosecurity, diagnostics and production-performance indicators.
• Experience managing flock health through complete production cycles and coordinating farm teams.
• Ability to analyse farm records and communicate clear, practical recommendations.
• A valid UAE veterinary licence is an advantage; candidates must meet applicable licensing requirements before undertaking regulated veterinary duties.
• UAE driving licence preferred for travel between farms.
How to apply
Apply through GulfTalent with an updated CV clearly stating:
• Current country and city of residence, contact number and UAE visa/residency status where applicable.
• Years of breeder experience and broiler experience separately.
• Previous employers, employment dates, flock sizes and responsibilities.
• Veterinary licensing status, expected monthly salary and notice period.
