<p>Our Main Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced QA QC Manager to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile high rise towers and new build villa masterplan developments in the Emirate. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a QA QC Manager on major new build civil construction projects in the UAE and have worked in the capacity of QA QC Manager for a recognised main contracting company previously.
This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a temporary to permanent basis as an initial 6 month contract position, outsourced through J10 Consulting, with the option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Manage all QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Identify and resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and present QA/QC reports.
• Lead & Mentor QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors

<strong>Your responsibilities as a Contract Manager</strong></p><br><ul><li>Administer contracts by preparing and maintaining daily progress reports and event logs.</li><li>Provide contractual and commercial support during the preparation, execution and closure of complex (joint venture) projects.</li><li>Draft, review and negotiate (sub)contracts, variation orders, and claims.</li><li>Draft and review correspondence with partners, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.</li><li>Collaborate with the Project Team, as well as the Insurance, Procurement, and Treasury department, and work closely with the (Senior) Legal Counsel involved.</li><li>Enhance contract awareness within the Project Team.</li><li>Mentor and supervise the Contract Manager(s) and Quantity Surveyor(s) assigned to the project.</li></ul><p><strong>Your qualities and experience</strong><br>
You can move ahead as Contract Manager if you have:</p><br><p>Higher Professional Education (Master): Master’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university.</p><br><p>Experience:</p><br><ol><li>10+ years of relevant work experience.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of standard international construction and maritime contracts (e.g. FIDIC, LOGIC, NEC, IMCA, BIMCO).</li><li>Experience in an international maritime or civil engineering environment is preferred.</li></ol><p>Other requirements:</p><br><ol><li>Excellent command of English (written and spoken).</li><li>Team player and strong communicator with a business-oriented mindset.</li><li>Open to international assignments and willing to work on a rotational basis at project sites abroad.</li></ol><br>Qualifications<br><p><strong>What you can expect </strong></p><br><ul><li><u>Career opportunities</u>: We challenge you every day to get better. Role Description The Accounting Manager (part-time, remote) is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and applicable standards. This role includes preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly financial statements, supervising journal entries, and reconciling key accounts. The Accounting Manager will manage fixed asset records, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and provide analytical insights to inform management decisions. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, responding to financial inquiries, and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function.<br>Qualifications<br> Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Statements and Finance, including preparation, review, and analysis of reports. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making. Candidates should possess experience with Journal Entries (Accounting), including general ledger postings and account reconciliations. Candidates should possess knowledge in managing Fixed Assets, including tracking, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage. Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets; familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, part-time environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
