<h4>What you'll be doing</h4>
<p>As the Senior Finance Manager – Joint Ventures (Fashion & Jewelry), you will act as the strategic finance partner for a portfolio of leading international luxury brands across the Middle East, including Fendi, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Loewe, Repossi, De Beers, Max Mara, Zimmermann, Christian Louboutin, Marni, Jil Sander, Kenzo, and Maison Margiela.</p>
<p>You will work closely with Executive Management, Brand Partners, and Joint Venture leadership teams to drive profitable growth, support strategic investments, enhance shareholder value, and provide financial leadership across the full business lifecycle.</p>
<p>The role combines business partnering, corporate finance, FP&A, governance, business development, and executive-level stakeholder management, requiring both strong analytical capabilities and commercial acumen.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities:</h4>

<li><strong>Strategic business partnering</strong><br>
Serve as the primary finance partner for the Fashion & Jewelry Joint Venture portfolio.<br>
Partner with Joint Venture Finance Teams, and Chalhoub Executive Management to support strategic decision-making.<br>
Challenge business assumptions and provide independent, data-driven recommendations.<br>
Drive value creation initiatives focused on profitability, cash generation, and return on investment.<br>
Support negotiations with international luxury brand partners on strategic and financial matters.</li>
<li><strong>Financial planning & performance management</strong><br>
Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-term planning processes.<br>
Monitor financial performance against budget, forecast and prior year, identifying risks and opportunities.<br>
Perform detailed variance analysis and translate financial results into actionable business insights.<br>
Drive initiatives to improve revenue growth, profitability, cash flow and working capital.</li>

Ensure consistency, accuracy and transparency of financial reporting across the portfolio.<br>
Support Joint Venture governance, shareholder reporting and Board decision-making processes.</li>
<li><strong>Financial systems & process improvement</strong><br>
Continuously improve financial reporting processes, planning tools and analytical capabilities.<br>
Drive automation and process efficiencies across finance activities.<br>
Ensure strong financial controls and high standards of data integrity.<br>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational effectiveness.</li>
</ul>
<h4>What you'll need to succeed</h4>
<ul>
<li>You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.</li>
<li>You preferably hold an MBA and/or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA or CMA).</li>
<li>You possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to FP&A, business partnering or corporate finance.</li>
<li>You preferably have experience within luxury retail, retail, FMCG or consumer goods.</li>
<li>You preferably have previous exposure to Joint Ventures, multinational organizations or matrix environments.</li>
<li>You are adept in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.</li>
<li>You possess advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.</li>
<li>You have a solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting.</li>
<li>You possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.</li>
<li>You have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with ERP and BI tools is an advantage.</li>
<li>You possess excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through credible financial insights.</li>

Location: UAEEmployment: Full-time Salary: AED 12,000/month + Commission Benefits: Company car + fuel provided<br>We are seeking an experienced Pile Engineer to take responsibility for complete turnkey piling and foundation projects, while also playing an active role in business development for both piling works and heavy machinery rentals.<br>This position requires someone who can take a project from the initial client inquiry and technical assessment through planning, execution, coordination, and final delivery. The role therefore combines engineering expertise, project management, commercial responsibility, and client acquisition.<br>The Role The Pile Engineer will evaluate potential piling projects by reviewing drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, soil investigation data, and foundation requirements. The engineer will conduct or coordinate the required technical analyses, calculations, pile design assessments, method statements, and project planning. Based on site and ground conditions, the candidate should be able to determine suitable piling methods, machinery, equipment, and execution strategies. Responsibilities will also include developing quantities, cost estimates, schedules, quotations, technical proposals, and overall project requirements. Once a project is awarded, the engineer will oversee the complete delivery process, including mobilization, piling operations, manpower, equipment, subcontractors, testing, and site coordination. They will monitor progress, productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications while coordinating with consultants, contractors, developers, project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders.<br>Business Development A major part of this position is generating new business. The successful candidate must actively identify and pursue new piling and foundation projects within the UAE, rather than focusing only on engineering and execution. The role includes building and maintaining relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, infrastructure companies, and other potential clients. The engineer will be expected to generate leads, develop opportunities, prepare and follow up quotations, negotiate with clients, and help convert opportunities into awarded projects. The candidate will also support the company's heavy machinery rental business by identifying projects and companies requiring piling and construction equipment and bringing in new rental clients. An active pipeline of prospective clients, piling projects, and machinery rental opportunities should be maintained.<br>Candidate Profile Candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline and have strong professional experience specifically within piling, deep foundations, and foundation engineering. The position requires demonstrated experience managing piling works on a turnkey basis, including their technical, operational, and commercial aspects. Candidates should have a strong understanding of pile foundation systems, soil and geotechnical conditions, piling equipment, testing procedures, execution methods, and the relevant engineering calculations and analyses. Experience with piling rigs and associated heavy machinery is highly preferred. Good knowledge of the UAE construction and infrastructure market is also important, while an existing network among contractors, consultants, developers, or project owners in the UAE would be a strong advantage. This role particularly suits an engineer with a business-development mindset who is comfortable approaching clients, developing relationships, sourcing opportunities, negotiating, and closing business in addition to managing engineering work. Strong project-management, communication, negotiation, and client-management skills are required. A UAE driving licence is preferred.<br>Compensation The position offers a fixed salary of AED 12,000 per month + commission, together with a company car and fuel.
