Lenovo is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist for our international sales organization. In this role, you will employ your deep technical knowledge along with sharp interpersonal skills with CTOs, IT decision makers, sales teams, end customers, partners, and ISVs to bring value to our customers across the Gulf region. Your objectives will be in the development of infrastructure solutions opportunities through the sales cycle, from understanding customer business and technical requirements, building the solution architecture, and bringing the opportunity up to a close by demonstrating customer value.<br><strong>What will you do:</strong><br><ul><li>Trusted Advisor Role: Define and identify IT Data Centre and Storage projects, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and the Lenovo seller team across the gulf countries.</li><li>Pipeline Development: Help develop pipelines for new Server, Software Defined Infrastructure, and Storage business</li><li>Customer Relationships: Grow and maintain relationships with technical communities within customers and partners, up to CTO level.</li><li>Technology Updates: Keep customers informed about relevant new technologies and innovations.</li><li>Solution Configurations: Produce configurations across multiple solutions, collaborating with product and technical communities, sales teams, and business partners to support and win business.</li><li>Account Team Support: Proactively support account teams with product advice, presentations, and proposals.</li><li>Cross-team collaboration: Working with data centre partners, prepare RFI and RFP responses, present solutions, conduct proofs of concept, and create and deliver training to the partner community</li></ul><br><strong>What do you bring:</strong><br><ul><li>8-10+ years of experience in a technical sales position in information technologies field</li><li>Technical Pre-Sales Experience from an Enterprise Server/IT Vendor, Distributor, or Partner environment with previous technical pre-sales positions.</li><li>Customer Infrastructure Understanding: Gather information to accurately understand customer technology infrastructure and propose complex Lenovo solution</li><li>Data Centre Solutions Delivery: Experience working directly with end-user customers in delivering infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Technical Expertise: Thorough understanding of architecture, design, and implementation of modern IT systems and cloud infrastructures, including storage solutions and their interactions with converged and hyperconverged solutions, and operating systems.</li><li>Ability to produce configurations across solutions for financial services, collaborating with product specialists, technical communities, sales teams, and business partners to support and win business.</li><li>Experience translating customer business requirements into AI-driven technology solutions.</li><li>Knowledge of AI ecosystems such as NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and cloud AI platforms.</li></ul><br>
