JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY:The Industrial Engineer is responsible for supporting the Center of Excellence project by ensuring proper facility layout, operational workflows, process flows, and workspace configurations associated with the centralized repair center initiative. The role analyzes operational requirements and translates them into efficient, practical, and safe layouts and workflows that support productivity, safety, quality, and operational efficiency objectives.<br>The role works closely with the Project Manager, project teams, operations, engineering, facilities, and other stakeholders to support facility planning and operational design activities, including layout development, workflow optimization, process mapping, value stream mapping, material flow analysis, and capacity planning.<br>The Industrial Engineer also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, operational readiness planning, KPI development, and process standardization activities to ensure proper workflow design, effective space utilization, and sustainable operational performance across the repair center environment.<br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES<br>1. Facility Layout Planning and Operational Flow Optimization Develop and optimize facility layouts, operational flows, and workspace configurations for the centralized repair center. Support layout planning activities related to construction, infrastructure, and operational readiness. Develop operational flow concepts, workstation arrangements, and space utilization plans to ensure proper layout and efficient workflow across operational areas. Analyze the movement of materials, tooling, equipment, components, and personnel across operational areas. Ensure layouts support operational efficiency, safety, productivity, maintainability, and quality objectives.<br>2. Process Mapping, Value Stream Mapping and Workflow Analysis Develop process maps, value stream maps, workflow analyses, and operational models to support process design and optimization. Map current-state and future-state operational processes. Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplication, handoff issues, and non-value-added activities that may affect proper workflow and operational flow. Develop optimized workflows and process improvement recommendations. Support the standardization of operational processes across the repair centre environment.<br>3. Operational Modelling, Capacity and Utilization Analysis Support the development of operational models and optimization strategies for the centralized repair center. Perform workload, capacity, productivity, and utilization analysis. Support manpower planning, space planning, and resource requirement analysis to ensure layout and workflow requirements are properly supported. Analyze operational data to support decision-making, planning assumptions, and project implementation. Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency, resource utilization, and throughput.<br>4. Process Design Alignment with Project Milestones Collaborate with the Project Manager, project team, facilities, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to align process design with project milestones. Coordinate with relevant teams regarding operational requirements, process design inputs, and infrastructure planning needs. Ensure infrastructure design and facility planning activities are aligned with workflow, capacity, safety, and operational requirements. Support readiness assessments, implementation planning, and operational transition activities. Provide technical input to ensure proper layout, workflow, and operational design requirements are considered during project execution.<br>5. KPI Development, Dashboarding and Performance Metrics Support the development of operational KPIs, performance metrics, and tracking mechanisms. Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and operational performance trackers. Analyze process performance trends, productivity data, and improvement opportunities. Provide insights to support management reporting, operational reviews, and continuous improvement actions. Use data visualization and reporting tools to improve visibility of operational performance.<br>6. Continuous Improvement and Lean Implementation Support continuous improvement initiatives and Lean implementation activities across the repair center environment. Apply Lean principles, Six Sigma concepts, and process optimization techniques to improve operational efficiency. Participate in improvement workshops, root cause analysis activities, and process review sessions. Recommend efficiency, productivity, safety, and quality improvement opportunities. Support the implementation of improvement actions and monitor progress against expected outcomes.<br>7. Project Reporting, Documentation and Coordination Support Prepare analysis reports, technical summaries, presentations, and project updates related to industrial engineering activities. Maintain process documentation, engineering records, layouts, process maps, and analysis files. Support coordination with project stakeholders, operations, engineering, facilities, and other support functions as required. Document assumptions, design inputs, analysis outputs, and improvement recommendations. Support project reporting and governance requirements related to operational design and process optimization.<br>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIESMinimum Qualifications:(Education/Certification/Licensure/Professional Membership)<br>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field. Training or coursework in industrial engineering, facility layout planning, workflow analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement is preferred. Project management certification, training, or coursework is an advantage. Minimum Experience:Minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial engineering experience in the aviation sector, preferably within aviation MRO, repair center operations, engine MRO, or related technical operational environments; or minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering firm. Experience in facility layout planning, workflow analysis, process optimization, operational flow design, and workspace configuration. In-depth knowledge of process optimization, operational efficiency, workflow analysis, and productivity improvement. Experience in developing process maps, workflow models, capacity analyses, dashboards, and improvement recommendations. Experience using data analysis, process mapping, dashboarding, or reporting tools. Job Profile & Description: About the role The Senior T&C Engineer will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing testing and commissioning activities for all building and infrastructure systems. The role ensures that all MEP, electrical, and system interfaces are fully tested, compliant with RTA standards, and safely integrated without disrupting ongoing metro operations. Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, below: 1. Testing & Commissioning Planning Develop and implement T&C strategies, procedures, and schedules in line with project requirements. Prepare method statements, inspection & test plans (ITPs), and commissioning procedures. Coordinate testing sequences across multiple systems to ensure efficient commissioning. 2. System Commissioning & Validation Lead testing and commissioning of key systems including: Electrical systems (LV/MV, lighting, earthing) Mechanical systems (HVAC, ventilation, smoke extraction) Plumbing and drainage systems Fire protection and life safety systems (fire alarm, suppression) Building Management System (BMS) interfaces (excluding comms scope) Ensure all systems operate as per design specifications and performance criteria. 3. Interface & Integration Management Ensure proper integration of new systems with existing metro infrastructure. Coordinate closely with civil, rail systems, IT/OT, and MEP teams. Manage interfaces in a live operational metro environment , ensuring no impact on existing services. 4. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure all systems comply with RTA standards, local regulations, and international codes. Witness and verify contractor testing, inspections, and commissioning activities. Review technical submissions, test reports, and commissioning documentation. 5. Operational Readiness & Handover Conduct system performance testing, integrated system testing (IST), and final validation. Ensure readiness for safe operation prior to handover. Prepare commissioning dossiers, O&M manuals, and handover documentation. Support training of client and operations teams. 6. Risk Management & Troubleshooting Identify risks related to system installation and commissioning phases. Troubleshoot system deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions. Let's get in touch.<br><br>What You'll Be Doing<br><br>Building infrastructure and processes to enable entry into new markets and ability to scale 10x Delivering easy-to-use solutions for provisioning (IaC) and CI/CD across multi-cloud and on-premise environments Architecting multi-cloud regional failover, disaster recovery planning, and self-service BCP to ensure mission-critical reliability Designing and implementing bespoke third-party connectivity from scratch to handle a high volume of diverse and complex integrations Creating and maintaining security-related infrastructure, automating patching, ensuring audit readiness, and supporting regulatory reporting Implementing robust managed services, including Postgres and Redis, across cloud and hybrid footprints<br><br>What You'll Need<br><br>Hands-on software engineering skills with experience as a backend developer Experience with Linux, Docker, and cloud providers (GCP and AWS) Experience with distributed systems, including scaling, fault-tolerance, load-balancing, networking, and security Knowledge of continuous delivery systems, such as Jenkins, Team City Familiarity with configuration management systems and deployment tools (Ansible and Terraform) Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) Experience with continuous delivery using Kubernetes The ability to work independently across internal teams and third parties to design and deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions from scratch<br><br>Nice to have<br><br>Experience with monitoring solutions, such as New Relic, Stack Driver, and Prometheus Expertise in on-premise and hybrid environments, leveraging tools like Kube Virt to orchestrate virtual machines alongside containerised workloads<br><br>Building a global financial super app isn’t enough. Monitors the accomplishments at site and analyses its effect on the project schedule.</p><p>Functionally reporting to Planning Manager/Snr Planning Manager.</p><br><p><strong>What you will do?</strong></p><ul><li><p>Thorough analysis of tender information and preparation of tender programmes</p></li><li><p>Preparation of Baseline / Contract programmes inclusive of Procurement and Engineering activities (resource loaded programmes).
