Job Description<br><br>WSP is seeking a Civil Inspector to join our Abu Dhabi team to support the construction supervision of major transportation, roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting civil works on site, monitoring construction activities, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and authority requirements.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Inspect civil construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Support the project team in achieving quality, safety, and project delivery objectives.<br><br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Inspector on roads, highways, transportation, utilities, and infrastructure projects. Proven experience working within construction supervision consultancy environments. Strong knowledge of civil construction activities including earthworks, pavement works, utility corridors, drainage systems, and road infrastructure. Familiarity with UAE construction standards, specifications, and authority requirements. Experience inspecting concrete works, asphalt works, roadworks, utility works, and associated civil infrastructure. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Experience witnessing inspections, testing, and handover activities. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
