<p>About the role
We are seeking a high-calibre Commercial Manager to join our growing team in Ras Al Khaimah, taking a leading role in the commercial and contractual management of a large-scale infrastructure scheme forming part of a landmark development in the Emirate.
This is a senior, client-facing position suited to an experienced commercial professional who combines strong technical expertise with confident leadership, commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills.
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience working on major infrastructure schemes, with a background spanning projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities, interchanges and other complex civil infrastructure developments.
You will ideally come from a Cost Management or Project Management Consultancy environment and will be comfortable operating at a senior level, leading teams, advising clients and taking ownership of complex commercial and contractual matters from post-contract through to completion.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Act as a senior commercial representative for Omnium, providing authoritative commercial and contractual advice across major infrastructure projects.
• Lead and oversee all post-contract commercial and cost management activities, including cost reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, change control and commercial risk management.
• Manage the commercial administration of complex infrastructure contracts, ensuring contractual obligations, entitlements and commercial risks are appropriately identified and managed.
• Lead the preparation, review, negotiation and administration of variations, claims, extensions of time and other contractual matters.
• Provide strategic commercial advice to clients, supporting effective decision-making and ensuring projects remain commercially controlled throughout their lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and other key project stakeholders, acting as a trusted commercial advisor.

• 15+ years’ post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or Commercial Management, with significant infrastructure experience.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities, interchanges and major civil infrastructure programmes.
• Strong experience within a Cost Management or Project Management Consultancy environment is essential.
• Proven senior commercial leadership experience, with the ability to lead teams, manage major deliverables and take ownership of complex projects.

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing routine inspection, sampling, testing, and verification of in-process materials, and finished powder coating products to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality requirements.<br><br>The role supports production through timely testing, accurate reporting, effective identification of non-conforming products, and adherence to established QC procedures, safety requirements, and good laboratory practices.<br><br><strong>Reporting lines<br><br></strong><ul><li>Functional Guidance: Laboratory Manager & QC leader, Powder Coating, UAE.</li><li>Admin/Legal Entity: Business Director, General Industrial MEART.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>In-Process Quality Control<br><br></strong><ul><li>Collect and test powder coating samples during production according to the defined inspection and testing plan.</li><li>Perform timely testing to support production release and minimize manufacturing delays.</li><li>Verify critical quality parameters and compare results against product specifications.</li><li>Communicate out-of-specification or abnormal results immediately to the QC Supervisor and Production team.</li><li>Support production personnel with adjustments and re-testing according to approved procedures.</li><li>Monitor quality consistency between production batches.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Finished Product Testing<br><br></strong><li>Perform routine physical and application testing of powder coatings, which may include:</li><ul><li>Color and visual appearance</li><li>Gloss</li><li>Film thickness</li><li>Particle size distribution</li><li>Gel time</li><li>Specific gravity/density, where applicable</li><li>Powder flow and appearance</li><li>Application behavior</li><li>Surface finish and visual defects</li><li>Adhesion</li><li>Impact resistance</li><li>Bend/flexibility testing</li><li>Other product-specific tests according to internal methods and customer specifications<br><br></li></ul><strong>Color & Appearance Evaluation<br><br></strong><ul><li>Conduct visual and instrumental color evaluation against approved standards.</li><li>Operate spectrophotometers/color measurement instruments as required.</li><li>Evaluate color difference and appearance against established acceptance criteria.</li><li>Assess gloss, texture, metallic appearance, surface finish, and other visual characteristics.</li><li>Maintain and handle master color standards and reference panels appropriately.</li><li>Report color deviations promptly and support production color correction activities as required.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Product Release & Non-Conformance Control<br><br></strong><ul><li>Verify test results against approved specifications before recommending batch acceptance/release.</li><li>Immediately report results outside specification limits.</li><li>Support investigation and re-testing of non-conforming batches.</li><li>Assist with additional testing of reworked or corrected batches.</li><li>Ensure that only valid and authorized test results are used for product release decisions. <br><br></li></ul><strong> Laboratory Equipment & Calibration<br><br></strong><ul><li>Operate laboratory instruments and test equipment according to approved operating procedures.</li><li>Perform routine verification/checks of laboratory equipment before use.</li><li>Ensure instruments are within their valid calibration status</li><li>Report equipment malfunction, damage, or calibration issues immediately.</li><li>Maintain equipment in clean and suitable working condition.</li><li>Support scheduled calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance activities.</li><li>Maintain equipment usage and verification records where required.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Documentation & Quality Systems<br><br></strong><ul><li>Accurately record all observations, measurements, calculations, and test results.</li><li>Complete QC reports, inspection records, test sheets, and electronic records as required.</li><li>Follow approved SOPs, work instructions, specifications, test methods, and quality plans.</li><li>Maintain traceability between samples, production batches, test panels, standards, and recorded results.</li><li>Ensure records are clear, complete, legible, accurate, and completed at the time testing is performed.</li><li>Maintain laboratory housekeeping and documentation standards.</li><li>Support continuous improvement activities within the QC laboratory.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Health, Safety & Environment<br><br></strong><ul><li>Follow all plant and laboratory HSE requirements.</li><li>Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling powders, chemicals, hot panels, laboratory equipment, and production samples.</li><li>Follow safe practices for powder coating application and curing operations.</li><li>Properly identify, store, handle, and dispose of laboratory chemicals, samples, and waste.</li><li>Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, spills, and equipment experience.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Experience & Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>1–3 years of experience in a QC laboratory or manufacturing quality environment preferred.</li><li>Experience in powder coatings, paints, coatings is highly desirable.</li><li>Functional Expertise – solid functional/business skills / background, able to provide guidance to drive programs/projects.</li><li>Data analysis
