<p><p>Reporting to the senior contracts manager and responsible for assisting with the leadership and function of the commercial and cost management functions across the project, including estimating, budgeting, cost control, contract administration, valuations, change management, and financial reporting. Oversees the review of contractor submissions, progress payments, variations, and claims, ensuring commercial compliance, cost certainty, and effective contractual management throughout the project lifecycle.</p>
<p>Develops and maintains systems for design consultant covering the areas of budgeting, cost control, estimating, and reporting.</p>
<p>Reviews the various activities of construction projects with regard to variations and submission for management approvals.</p>
<p>Ensures that the requirements with regard to cost estimating and cost control for variations are incorporated in the tender specification documents.</p>
<p>Reviews the cost estimates submitted by consultant/contractor and ensures compliance with agreement, contract drawings and specifications as well as accuracy of company requirements.</p>
<p>Reviews the bill of quantities prepared by design consultants and contractors and ensures that they are in accordance with drawings and specifications.</p>
<p>Verifies project control budgets and updates them as required for management approval.</p>
<p>Prepares and reviews the forecasts for the final project costs including variations, considering the commitments.</p>
<p>Prepares and updates cost data to review the cost estimates submitted by design consultant.</p>
<p>Reviews final cost reports, assets registers and project close out reports for compliance with contract requirements.</p>
<p>Reviews and certifies progress payments in coordination with the project team.</p>
<p>Reviews change requests, contract trend notices, variation orders, claims, etc.</p>
<p>Oversees and supervises the work of quantity surveyors.</p>
<p>Performs other similar or related duties, as assigned.</p>
<p>Informs themselves of the relevant quality, environmental, safety and occupational health policies, manuals and procedures in place within the organization, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed.</p>
<h4>Qualifications and experience</h4>

<li>Certified chartered quantity surveyor preferred - MRICS or similar.</li>

Achieves targets for variation sales and change orders during installation, ensures costs attributable to others are claimed and collected. Verifies quality of installation and ensures the scope of work is completed. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and contract specifications.</span></p><br><p><span>We envisage success in this role to include; </span></p><br><ul><li><span>Overseeing the design, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects.</span></li><li><span>Ensuring compliance with all applicable local codes, standards, regulations, and project specifications in the country where the project is located.</span></li><li><span>Reviewing and approving MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents submitted by contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.</span></li><li><span>Conducting regular site inspections to monitor the progress of MEP works and ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and safety standards.</span></li><li><span>Inspecting and testing MEP installations at various stages of construction to verify functionality, quality, and compliance with design intent.</span></li><li><span>Investigating and resolving MEP-related issues, clashes, or defects arising during construction, while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to implement corrective actions.</span></li><li><span>Preparing and maintaining detailed records of MEP inspections, testing results, approvals, and non-conformance reports for quality assurance and project documentation purposes.</span></li><li><span>Ensuring all MEP activities on site are being executed safely by implementing and enforcing safety procedures, conducting safety inspections, and addressing potential hazards promptly.</span></li><li><span>Providing technical support and guidance to the project and construction teams on all MEP-related matters, including resolving technical queries, coordinating interdisciplinary works, and assisting with the interpretation of drawings and specifications.</span></li></ul> <br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><p><span>To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7 years of work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. </span></p><br><p><span>Experience gained from working on<strong> Infrastructure projects in the UAE </strong>is preferred.</span></p><br><p><span>KEO’s performance is founded upon integrity, results, innovation, safety, and our people. The role also involves maintaining account plans, updating CRM systems, tracking sales performance, and staying current with market trends and competitive offerings.<br>Qualifications<br> Candidates should possess strong IT Sales skills, including solution selling and consultative sales approaches. Candidates should possess Lead Generation and prospecting skills to identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities. Candidates should possess Account Management skills to develop, maintain, and grow long-term client relationships. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Information Technology concepts, products, and services relevant to digital transformation. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and clear business writing. Proven experience in B2B technology or enterprise solutions sales, preferably within the UAE or GCC market. <p>Location: Head Office</p><p>Functional Area: Finance & Audit</p><p>Career Status: Management Level</p><p><br></p><p>Purpose of Job</p><ul><li>Identifies IT Risk within the business and provides assurance that appropriate mitigation plans are in place and implemented. </li><li>Provides assurance and insight on the effectiveness and efficiency of governance, risk management and internal control processes. </li><li>Assists the VP Internal Audit & Risk Management in continually improving a world class audit function suitable for a major national and internal oil refining company. </li><li>Manages the Department to achieve corporate, Divisional and Department objectives. Maintains a focus on integrated risk based IT audits, while participating in other audits as required. Develops and continually enhances the methods, processes and standards used in IT Audits utilising industry standards best practices. </li><li>Manages and leads audit teams, conducts risk assessments, control walkthroughs and audits.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Minimum Job Requirements</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Management or equivalent is required.</li><li>Professional qualification such as CISA or equivalent is required; CIA or ACCA are desirable.</li><li>MBA or equivalent is preferable.</li><li>12 years’ experience including 7 years IT Audit experience of which 5 years should have been in oil, gas or related industries.</li><li>Fluency in English is required. </li><li>Knowledge of Arabic is desirable. </li><li>Communication skills: High level of proficiency in report writing. </li><li>Industry, regulatory and standards changes; conflict management/resolution; problem identification and solution; organisational and staff training and development.</li></ul>
