Ensure to build and optimize global vs. HQ ways of working, structures, and accountabilities especially between the US and HQ in UAE.<br><br>Change Management and Transformation<br><br>Lead the people side of major changes such as markets’ expansion, private label growth, the omnichannel / digital transformation, new systems’ implementations and any restructuring. Drive equity and fairness in all decisions across the board from exits to hiring, promotions, recognition and talent assessment.<br><br>Experience<br><br>What you’ll need to succeed<br><br>12–15 years in HR, with substantial time as a senior business partner to executive leadership. Experience in retail, fashion, luxury with solid understanding of a multi-brand environment. Must have an in-depth understanding of all ecommerce functions. Experience in omnichannel / digital is a must. Stays ahead of global and regional competitor/industry trends across retail, ecommerce, tech, private label, creative/marketing, and logistics to continuously provide strategic people advice that provides competitive advantage opportunities. Proven track record in organisation design, workforce planning and leading change through periods of rapid growth. Hands-on experience building talent, succession and leadership development agendas. In accordance with established policies, procedures and standards, under the direction of the Director, Global Gas Solutions (GGS) is principally responsible for executing the activities of the global gas solutions team with emphasis on gas projects, including gas carriers, gas liquefaction and regasification related projects and systems. This includes management of GGS efforts which relate to the development of products and services; the identification, establishment and nurturing of client relationships; and rollout of Corporate initiatives related to the application of relevant technologies to our processes as well as the projection of our image as a technology leader in the marine gas fuels industry<br>What You Will Do:<br>- Monitor developments affecting present and potential customers, and assist the Director of GGS in developing strong client relationships and actively promoting the services and capabilities of the ABS global gas business to customers of ABS.<br>- Communicate with and provide support to owners, shipyards, designers and other stakeholders in support of ABS’ business development efforts and ongoing projects as directed by the Director of GGS. <p>The Demand Planner will be responsible for driving sales and profitability through effective inventory management, strong planning and forecasting. This role requires a strong understanding of data analytics, market trends, consumer behaviour, highly analytical with strong attention to detail.</p>
<h4>Product planning</h4>
<ul>
<li>Support the development of sales plans and OTB by collaborating with Buying, Finance, Retail, and Ecommerce teams. Utilize sales data, market conditions, and supplier inputs to help inform merchandise strategies and support profitable decision-making.</li>
<li>Own and maintain monthly sales and stock intake plans to ensure stock levels are optimized, helping to maximize sales and margin.</li>
<li>Own forecasting and re-forecasting efforts by analyzing sales performance and market trends, assisting in adjusting plans to align with current business conditions.</li>
<li>Conduct margin analysis under supervision to identify potential profitability improvements and highlight risks, contributing to a proactive approach to inventory management.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Buying and Trade teams to execute seasonal markdown strategies, aiming to maximize sales and gross margin while managing inventory levels, considering stock aging and quality.</li>
<li>Monitor and manage OTB to assist in effective budget utilization and inventory control, identifying potential risks and opportunities for seasonal trading actions.</li>
<li>Support inventory management efforts by ensuring accurate stock tracking and alignment with sales and stock forecasts, assisting in allocation and replenishment processes to maintain healthy stock levels across various business channels.</li>
<li>Identify and address aging stock, working to improve liquidation processes and solve inventory discrepancies to optimize stock levels.</li>
<li>Conduct range planning analysis for Buying by channel, region, or store, ensuring alignment with merchandise strategy and consumer demand, and suggesting improvements for revenue and profitability optimization.</li>
<li>Support adherence to the critical path by tracking key timelines and milestones, from OTB and sales plans to end-of-season actions.</li>
<li>Conduct trade analysis to understand market trends and consumer preferences, communicating potential sales or stock risks and opportunities to the wider team.</li>
<li>Highlight risks and opportunities on planned sales, gross margin, and inventory based on supply or demand gaps, suggesting possible solutions and actions.</li>
