<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span>We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Kuwait.<br> The successful candidate will provide comprehensive cosmetic, reconstructive, and plastic surgical care, perform advanced surgical procedures according to their expertise, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.<br> Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and pre-operative evaluations.<br> Diagnose and manage patients requiring cosmetic, reconstructive, and plastic surgical procedures.<br> Perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries according to qualifications and clinical expertise.<br> Develop individualized surgical treatment plans based on patient needs and expected outcomes.<br> Perform facial aesthetic procedures, breast surgery, body contouring, and other cosmetic procedures where qualified.<br> Perform reconstructive procedures following trauma, burns, cancer surgery, congenital conditions, and tissue loss.<br> Manage complex wounds, scars, soft-tissue defects, and post-surgical complications.<br> Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.<br> Monitor patient recovery and manage surgical complications when required.<br> Counsel patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and post-operative care.<br> Collaborate with dermatologists, oncologists, general surgeons, ENT specialists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.<br> Maintain accurate patient records, operative notes, consent forms, and clinical documentation.<br> Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).<br> Ensure compliance with Kuwait healthcare regulations, hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.<br> Participate in on-call duties and emergency surgical coverage as required.<br> Qualifications &amp; Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.<br> Recognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic &amp; Reconstructive Surgery .<br> Minimum 4 –8 years of post-specialization experience , including significant Consultant-level experience.<br> Strong experience in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.<br> Proven expertise in complex plastic surgical procedures.<br> Excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.<br> Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.<br></span> </div>
