As part of its continued expansion, the company is looking to make another key hire for its Middle East team.<br>Role Requirement We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day management and strategic oversight of the fund’s segregated portfolios. This role is responsible for driving investment execution, allocating capital across DeFi ecosystems, centralised exchanges (CEX), and real-world asset opportunities, while overseeing both on-chain and off-chain operational activities. Blending institutional portfolio management with digital asset expertise, the position requires a hands-on approach to blockchain-based fund operations, including trade execution, custodian relationships, smart contract interactions, and the seamless administration of investment processes across traditional and decentralised financial markets.<br>Key Responsibilities Investment Management & Strategy Execution Execute Investment Committee-approved portfolio transactions and strategies, including staking, lending, liquidity provision, leveraged yield strategies, and external manager allocations. Deploy capital to approved DeFi protocols via the institutional custody platform, ensuring whitelisted integrations, appropriate position sizing, and risk controls. Manage capital allocations to quantitative managers through segregated CEX accounts, including setup, funding, rebalancing, and redemptions. Monitor portfolio exposures daily, including yield, protocol stability, liquidation thresholds, counterparty risk, and compliance with Investment Committee limits. Review portfolio positioning for rebalancing or yield optimisation opportunities, executing approved changes within authority and escalating mandate exceptions to the Investment Committee. Oversee MMF liquidity allocation to maintain cash availability and meet redemption obligations within fund parameters.<br>Fund Operations & Trade Execution Manage fund cash and digital asset movements, including fiat-stablecoin conversions, custody wallet transfers, DeFi/CEX allocations, and off-ramping for redemptions and operational payments. Coordinate with the digital asset custodian on transactions, wallet and protocol whitelists, policy engine settings, and secure wallet infrastructure management. Authorise fiat payments and USDC redemption distributions, coordinating with the fund administrator for timely, accurate settlement. Work with the fund administrator on subscriptions, redemptions, mint/burn instructions, NAV data, and daily on-chain/off-chain reconciliations. Manage relationships with external quantitative managers, monitoring performance, reviewing reports, and coordinating withdrawals, reallocations, and redeployment as needed.<br>Risk Management & Compliance Oversee portfolio risk controls in line with Investment Committee directives, including diversification, TVL thresholds, venue concentration, leverage, and drawdown limits. Assess operational and counterparty risks across DeFi and centralised environments, including smart contract, oracle, governance, credit, and exchange-related risks. Support AML/KYC compliance with the fund administrator, covering investor onboarding, due diligence, reviews, and sanctions screening. Manage operational incidents by assessing impact, coordinating responses, and implementing corrective actions, including emergency smart contract interventions when needed. Prepare post-incident documentation, support root cause analysis, and assist with regulatory filings and notifications, including CIMA submissions where applicable.<br>Reporting & Stakeholder Management Provide portfolio holdings, transaction records, and performance data to support NAV production and investor reporting. Present regular Investment Committee updates on portfolio results, key risks, operational developments, and material issues. Serve as the main contact for external partners, coordinating operational, compliance, and regulatory matters with administrators, custodians, auditors, and legal advisers. Support the annual audit by providing requested documentation, including trade histories, investment records, Investment Committee minutes, and rebalancing details.<br>Requirements Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in portfolio management, trading, investment operations, or a related field, with proven experience in one or more of the following:Managing discretionary portfolios or proprietary trading strategies in institutional finance. Working in digital asset environments, including DeFi, yield strategies, quantitative models, or multi-manager crypto funds. Performing fund operations or middle/back-office functions, including trade execution, reconciliation, settlement, and custodian engagement. Operating in blockchain or digital assets, including custody, tokenised products, or infrastructure in a leadership or supervisory role.<br>Experience will be assessed against the role’s scope. Understanding of quantitative digital asset strategies, including delta-neutral, basis, carry, and perpetual futures approaches. Familiarity with Ethereum infrastructure, smart contracts, ERC-20 standards, and on-chain transaction execution. Hands-on experience with institutional custody platforms, transaction controls, DeFi integrations, wallet administration, and secure asset management. Join us.<br> <br>Job Description<br> <br>The Civil Works Manager – Depot & Online Buildings is responsible for the management, technical direction and delivery assurance of all civil and structural works associated with the depot facilities and the online (wayside) buildings of the High Speed Rail project. The role covers design review, construction supervision, quality, schedule and cost control, and interface management for rolling stock depots, maintenance facilities and all buildings located along the railway alignment, ensuring that works are delivered safely, to specification, and in accordance with applicable international and local rail standards.<br> <br>Depot Buildings<br> Manage and oversee the design development, review and construction of depot civil and structural works, including rolling stock maintenance workshops, stabling sheds, inspection pits, wheel-lathe and wash-plant buildings, and associated foundations and structures. Direct the delivery of depot administration, operations control, warehouse/stores, fuel and lubrication, fire station, security and staff welfare buildings. Oversee depot-wide infrastructure including internal roads, hardstanding, drainage, retaining structures and boundary works, ensuring coordination with track, systems and utility works within the depot footprint. Coordinate civil works interfaces with permanent way, overhead contact system (OCS), signalling, power and building services (MEP) contractors within the depot. <br>Online (Wayside) Buildings<br> Manage civil and structural works for buildings located along the alignment, including signalling equipment rooms, traction power substations and OCS feeder stations, telecommunications huts, ventilation and plant buildings, and emergency access/escape structures. Oversee construction of station-related civil/structural elements, patrol and maintenance buildings, staff welfare cabins and security posts sited along the corridor. Ensure online buildings are correctly sequenced and interfaced with earthworks, structures, track possessions and systems installation activities along the alignment. <br>General Management & Technical Duties<br> Lead a multidisciplinary team of civil/structural engineers and site supervisors, allocating resources across depot and wayside building work-fronts. Review and approve design deliverables, drawings, specifications and method statements for compliance with contract requirements and applicable codes (e.g., Eurocodes, UIC, AREMA, or project-specified equivalents, and local UAE/GCC building and civil defence codes). Supervise contractors and subcontractors on site, monitoring workmanship, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and adherence to approved methods and programme. Develop and maintain the civil works construction programme for depot and online buildings, monitoring progress, identifying delays and implementing recovery measures. Manage cost control, change/variation assessment and reporting for the civil works package(s) under their responsibility. Enforce project health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements across all depot and online building work sites. Manage technical and programme interfaces with systems-wide contractors (rolling stock, signalling, power, telecommunications, permanent way) and with the client, engineer and relevant authorities (municipalities, utility providers, civil defence). Chair/participate in technical and progress review meetings, and prepare regular progress, risk and status reports for project leadership. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site staff. <br>Minimum Qualifications & Experience<br> <br>The following are the mandatory minimum requirements for this position:<br> Not less than fifteen (15) years’ experience in the management of design and/or construction of rail projects, and in their required field of expertise. A minimum of five (5) years of that experience specifically in the management of design and/or construction of a railway project. Experience in the implementation of High Speed Rail (HSR) projects is highly preferable. Must have held the same or an equivalent position on at least one project of a similar size and complexity. Job Scope Summary<br><br><br>The Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing and continually improving the company's QHSE policies, procedures and management systems. The role supports safe, compliant and reliable plant operations in line with corporate QHSE standards and procedures, applicable UAE federal and local regulations, environmental permits and licence conditions, and contractual obligations and performance requirements. The QHSE Manager provides assurance to the General Manager and Management Board that risks to people, the environment, assets and reputation are identified, controlled and continually reduced.<br><br>Job Responsibilities<br><br><br>The Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental Manager manage the Plant's QHSE programs and development and managing policies and procedures to prevent, eliminate, control, and reduce work related hazards and maintain environmental responsibility. Performs the tasks concerning compliance with legal requirements and improvement measures of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001) in conformance with the relevant norms, rules and regulations.<br><br>These tasks include in particular:<br><br>Integrated Management System (IMS) Establish, implement and maintain the Integrated Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001. Define and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, work instructions, operational controls and forms for the site. Environmental and Energy Management Ensure that plant operations comply with environmental permits, IFC Performance Standards and other applicable environmental requirements. Monitor and oversee Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and other environmental monitoring equipment, ensuring reliability, proper maintenance and accurate reporting. Collect, analyse and report environmental and energy performance data, including emissions, waste streams, water, chemicals and fuel/energy usage. Lead or support energy efficiency initiatives, including identification, evaluation and implementation of improvement projects. Promote pollution prevention, waste minimisation, proper waste handling and environmentally responsible operations. Audits, Inspections and Assurance Plan and carry out internal QHSE and IMS audits, inspections and compliance checks, issue reports and track closure of findings. Coordinate external audits by certification bodies, owners, clients, insurers and regulatory authorities. Standardise and ensure the availability and control of all QHSE related documents, certificates and permits. Stakeholder Liaison and Emergency Interfaces Maintain liaison with external organisations such as civil defence, fire service, mutual aid partners and emergency response teams to ensure effective information exchange and support. Inform the Management Board and other stakeholders promptly of serious incidents, dangerous situations or emerging risks that require immediate decision and action. Leadership, Coaching and Culture Provide clear QHSE leadership, coaching and support to line managers, supervisors and the wider workforce. Coordinate and supervise the work of direct reports (for example QHSE Engineer, HSE Officer, Nurse) and ensure they are competent and effective in their roles. Promote a proactive reporting culture where hazards, near misses and improvement ideas are raised and addressed without blame. Exercise the authority to stop work where serious health, safety or environmental risks are identified. EfW Specific Responsibilities Ownership of process safety management for high-risk plant areas (waste bunker and cranes, combustion system and boiler, turbine hall, ACC, flue gas treatment, ash and residue handling). Ensure robust hazard identification and risk controls for typical EfW high-risk activities, for example confined space entry, work at height, crane and lifting operations, hot work, refractory work, boiler entry, chemical handling and high-pressure systems. Oversight of combustible dust, explosion and fire risk management (for example ATEX / equivalent, hot surfaces, ignition control, housekeeping, ash and residue systems). Lead QHSE preparation and control of major outages, overhauls and large contractor activities, including shutdown safety plans, contractor induction and coordination. Oversight of waste acceptance, sampling and non-conforming waste procedures, in coordination with Operations. Lead investigation and reporting of any exceedances, plant upsets or environmental non-compliances related to combustion or flue gas treatment performance. Define and track QHSE KPIs relevant to EfW operations, for example TRIFR, LTIFR, high potential incidents, environmental non-compliances, unsafe condition reports, training completion, contractor performance, outage incident rates. Provide regular QHSE performance reports to the General Manager and owners, with clear analysis of trends and recommended actions. Compensation and Benefits System Construction and Optimization: Lead the construction of a compensation and benefits system covering the entire group (including domestic and foreign branches), including salary structure design, salary band for job levels, performance-salary linkage, and formulation of benefit plans (five social insurance and one housing fund, supplementary commercial insurance, flexible benefits, etc.).
