This role leads the mechanical design of jet fuel hydrant systems (including valve chamber design), fuel storage systems, process and plant equipment, pressure vessels, and piping systems, from concept through detailed design and issue for construction, ensuring compliance with JIG 1, JIG 2, Energy Institute (EI) publications including EI 1540, EI 1584, EI 1585, and EI 1597, as well as international codes such as ASME and PED. Day-to-day tasks include performing hydraulic analyses and pressure surge modelling for fuel distribution systems, producing and reviewing 3D models and 2D drawings in AutoCAD and Inventor or SolidWorks, evaluating vendor submittals, and coordinating with civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines to ensure integrated, constructable designs. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Mechanical Sales Engineer</p><p>Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE</p><p>Role Summary</p><p>Frontier Petroleum Services is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to expand our customer base, strengthen existing client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth within ADNOC and EPC contractors operating in the UAE.</p><p>The successful candidate must be technically competent, commercially driven, and capable of independently engaging with clients, understanding their requirements, proposing suitable solutions, and converting opportunities into orders.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Develop new business opportunities within ADNOC Group companies, EPC contractors, and industrial end users</p></li><li><p>Regularly visit existing clients to identify new requirements and strengthen relationships</p></li><li><p>Prospect and acquire new customers across the UAE oil & gas sector</p></li><li><p>Promote Frontier's principals and product portfolio to engineering, procurement, operations, and maintenance teams</p></li><li><p>Identify project opportunities from early stages and position Frontier's products and solutions</p></li><li><p>Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and bid submissions</p></li><li><p>Manage enquiries from receipt through quotation, negotiation, and order closure</p></li><li><p>Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with principals on technical clarifications, pricing, and commercial matters</p></li><li><p>Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline through continuous customer engagement</p></li><li><p>Achieve agreed sales and profitability targets</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field</p></li><li><p>Minimum 4–6 years of experience selling oil & gas equipment and solutions in the UAE</p></li><li><p>Strong technical understanding of valves, instrumentation, flow measurement, automation, mechanical equipment, or related oil & gas products</p></li><li><p>Existing relationships with ADNOC companies, EPC contractors, and industrial end users</p></li><li><p>Proven track record of generating new business and closing orders</p></li><li><p>Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills</p></li><li><p>Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently</p></li></ul><p>Preferred Background</p><p>Experience dealing with ADNOC, ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Gas, NPCC, NMDC Energy, Petrofac, Galfar, Target Engineering, CPECC, Descon, Technip Energies, and similar organizations.</p><p>Key Objective</p><p>Expand Frontier's customer base, increase sales revenue, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and identify new opportunities for Frontier's principals and solutions across the UAE market.</p><p></p></section>
