Key Responsibilities

4+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, Machine Learning Engineering, or a similar role.
Strong experience with Python and machine learning lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with MLOps platforms and tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Understanding of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, automation, and system reliability.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

- Lead and manage the entire civil construction scope for EHV substation projects from mobilization to completion and handover.<br><br><br>- Plan, supervise and control all civil site activities including:- Site preparation and temporary facilities<br>- Earthworks and grading<br>- Foundations and structural concrete works<br>- Buildings, trenches, duct banks and underground services<br>- Roads, paving, drainage and external infrastructure<br><br>- Coordinate closely with electrical, MEP and commissioning teams to ensure proper interface management and avoid delays to equipment installation and energization milestones.<br><br><br>- Manage and supervise civil subcontractors, construction engineers, foremen and supervisors to ensure productivity, quality and adherence to schedule.<br>- Ensure availability of manpower, materials, equipment, tools and approved drawings at site to maintain progress.<br><br><br>- Participate in technical and progress meetings with the client, consultant and internal stakeholders, and provide clear updates on civil progress, constraints and mitigation actions.<br><br><br>- Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements, safe systems of work, permit conditions and company safety procedures.<br><br><br>- Coordinate all testing, inspections and handover activities related to the civil scope and ensure readiness for subsequent E&I installation activities.<br>- Maintain proper site documentation, records, daily reports, progress photographs and tracking of key construction deliverables.<br>- Drive timely completion of the project while maintaining required standards of safety, quality, cost control and client satisfaction.<br>- Prior experience on TAQA / TRANSCO / transmission utility projects in Abu Dhabi will be a strong advantage.<br>- Experience on 400k V GIS substations and major transmission infrastructure projects is highly preferred.<br>- Strong leadership personality with the ability to manage multicultural site teams and subcontractors.<br>- Capable of working in a client-facing environment with high expectations on quality, schedule and reporting.<br>- Practical problem solver with strong coordination and follow-up skills.<br>- Strong technical knowledge of civil construction works for EHV substations including:- Reinforced concrete structures and heavy equipment foundations<br>- Steel structure foundations and anchor bolt setting<br>- Earthworks, formation levels and subgrade preparation<br>- Underground drainage, storm water and foul water systems<br>- Cable trench and duct bank construction<br>- Roads and hardscape works within substation compounds<br>- Fire-rated buildings and control room civil works<br><br>- Sound understanding of substation layout requirements and interfaces with:- GIS / AIS equipment<br>- Power transformers and reactors<br>- Control & relay buildings<br>- Cable routing systems<br>- Earthing and underground utility coordination<br><br>- Ability to review and interpret:- IFC drawings<br>- Shop drawings<br>- Civil/structural calculations<br>- Method statements and ITPs<br>- Material submittals and technical approvals<br><br>- Good understanding of quality standards, testing requirements and construction tolerances applicable to utility infrastructure projects.<br>- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi / UAE utility specifications, HSE requirements and authority standards is highly desirable.<br>- Proficiency in planning and reporting tools such as:- Primavera P6 / MS Project (preferred for planning follow-up and look-ahead monitoring)<br>- MS Excel, Word and Power Point<br>- Auto CAD drawing review capability is preferred<br><br>- Strong knowledge of:- Construction sequencing and site logistics<br>- Productivity monitoring and resource planning<br>- Material take-off verification and progress measurement<br>- Risk identification and mitigation during execution<br><br>- Good command of written and spoken English. Arabic is an advantage.<br><br>Skills: - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.<br>- Minimum 12–15 years of overall experience in civil construction, with at least 8–10 years in EHV / HV substation projects (132k V / 220k V / 400k V).<br>- Proven experience in the construction and delivery of utility / transmission substations in the UAE or GCC region.<br>- Strong hands-on experience in the civil scope of EHV GIS / AIS substations, including but not limited to:- Site grading and earthworks<br>- Excavation, backfilling and compaction<br>- Foundations for GIS building, transformers, shunt reactors, control buildings and equipment support structures<br>- Cable trenches, duct banks and utility networks<br>- Underground services and drainage systems<br>- Road works, paving, kerbstones and external works<br>- Boundary walls, security fencing and associated infrastructure<br>- Oil containment pits, firefighting water tanks and related civil structures<br><br>- Experience in managing civil subcontractors, construction teams, site engineers and supervisors on large-scale substation projects.<br>- Demonstrated experience in interface management with electrical, MEP, protection/control and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.<br>- Experience working with utility clients / consultants / engineers in Abu Dhabi is highly preferred, especially on transmission / grid infrastructure projects.<br>- Strong track record in delivering projects under tight schedules, maintaining quality, safety and compliance with contract requirements.<br>- Experience in handling inspection requests, method statements, material approvals, RFIs, NCRs, technical queries and progress reporting.<br>- Familiarity with FIDIC-based contracts, project controls and commercial awareness related to variations, claims and progress measurement is preferred.
