The Fire Alarm Technician shall perform inspecting, testing, and maintenance for ADAB’s fire alarm network, which include Fire Alarm Control panel (FACP’s), Fire Alarm Transceivers (FAT’s), and the Fire Alarm Central Dispatching Center (Monaco D-21) in a manner that will ensure their serviceability and operation.<br><br>Essential Responsibilities:<br><br>Perform recurring preventive maintenance on installed fire detection and alarm systems IAW UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions in order to ensure the inspection of testing of installed fire detection, fire door, and alarm system at least once each contract year. Perform corrective maintenance on installed fire detection, fire alarm, fire door, and mass notification systems IAW applicable UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions, to return a system or component to full operating condition. Perform repair on installed fire detection, fire alarm, and mass notification systems IAW UFC 3-601-02, NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions, to return a system or component to full operating condition. Respond within all emergency service calls (1As) within thirty (30) minutes of initial notification from customer, COR, or Customer Service Unit to repair an installed automatic fire alarm system with no late responses allowed. Provide quarterly training to Air Force personnel (such as firefighters) on simple procedures for clearing the various Fire Alarm Systems and components and resetting fire alarm panels to restore operational capability. For each newly constructed facility, the Contractor shall install a new antenna mast (Government provided), connect the transceiver to the installed panel, program the new fire alarm panel to the Monaco system, and test the installation to ensure that the system is effectively communicating with the Monaco equipment (i.e., if any detector goes off in the building, the alarm is sent to ECC Fire Dispatch). Provide technical advice when requested by the COR for fire protection systems work proposed on work requests by other base agencies. <br><br>Qualifications / Education:<br><br>Must have an Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems Level II certification from NICET with 3 years’ experience. Registered, licensed, or certified by a state or local authority. Highschool Diploma or equivalent. All personnel must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel. Valid US or local driver's license and US passport. Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance. Ability to successfully pass and maintain CENTOM contract medical requirements for duration of deployment Country visa (as required in line with the U. S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide). <br><br>Other Knowledge, Skills And Abilities<br><br>Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities. <p>The Technical Manager – Fit-Out is responsible for technical leadership, design coordination, and of interior fit-out projects, ensuring all drawings, specifications, materials, and details are coordinated, compliant, and build-able within project constraints. Design & Technical Management Manage and coordinate shop drawings, design development, and technical submissions for fitout works. Review architectural, ID, MEP, and specialist drawings to ensure coordination and construct-ability. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, authority regulations, codes, and consultant standards. Lead design coordination meetings and resolve technical clashes. Shop Drawings & Submittals Oversee preparation and review of shop drawings, material submittals, samples, mock-ups, and prototypes. Ensure timely approvals in line with project schedules. Coordinate with planning and procurement teams to avoid technical delays. Propose value engineering solutions without compromising design intent or quality. Identify construction risks early and recommend mitigation measures. Optimize details for cost, time, and quality efficiency. Authority & Consultant Coordination Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities for technical approvals. Ensure all technical documents comply with local authority and fire/life safety requirements. Support authority inspections where technical input is required. Site Technical Support Provide technical guidance to site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Resolve site technical issues, RFIs, and discrepancies. Support quality control during execution and inspections. Handover & Close-Out Ensure technical documentation is complete for as-built drawings and O&M manuals. Support project handover and DLP technical issues Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering. • +20 years of experience in interior fit-out projects. • Strong UAE experience with consultant-led, fast-track projects. • Proven experience in high-end commercial, hospitality, retail, or residential fit-out.
