Job Purpose<br><br>The successful candidate will assist the Engineer in carrying out airframe and engine maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft. The role includes supporting inspections, repairs, defect rectification, and component replacement to ensure aircraft serviceability and operational readiness.<br><br>The position is responsible for performing assigned maintenance activities and recording completed work accurately and in a timely manner, in full compliance with Air Arabia procedures and applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining the required standards of safety and airworthiness.<br><br>Key Result Responsibilities<br><br>Operational Excellence<br><br>Reviews assigned task cards with the Engineer-in-Charge to gain full understanding of the work, priorities, documentation requirements and cautions, prior to starting work. Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards, ensuring that the required documentation, parts, tools and GSE are obtained and used per issued instructions. Carries out aircraft test and inspection tasks to the standard necessary to fully identify and record any defects or damage in accordance with approved maintenance procedures. Carries out repairs, component replacements and tests as instructed by assigned task cards fully in accordance with approved data and procedures and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Ensures proper tooling / equipment is drawn from stores to perform tasks, returning all of it in good condition following completion of work. Regularly reports the status of assigned tasks to the Engineer-in-Charge and alerts him or her to any problems with aircraft condition or with the execution of the work. Monitor the compliance of all WSA staff with the applicable safety standards and company's procedures and bring to the attention of the Project Manager any safety violations by WSA site team for their further action. Job Title: Electrical Site Inspector ( Post Contract Supervision ) Experience: 10+ Years of experience Location: Abu Dhabi<br>** Only candidates currently based in the UAE may apply.** Must have Engineering Consultancy experience. <br>Job Responsibilities:Only candidates currently based in the UAE with UAE experience are eligible to apply. Preference for candidates with Engineering Consultancy experience and post-contract supervision exposure. Conduct site inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, local authority regulations Monitor electrical works progress and report deviations, non-conformities, or substandard workmanship. Verify and document installation of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, ELV, and earthing systems. Participate in inspections for material deliveries to ensure conformity to approved material submittals and project specifications. Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, method statements, and inspection & test plans (ITPs). Coordinate with the main contractor, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure proper execution of electrical works. Maintain detailed daily site reports, including observations, progress, and deficiencies. Attend and document inspections, tests, and commissioning activities for electrical systems. Assist in ensuring that corrective actions are implemented for inspection comments or rejected works. Support the Electrical Engineer in resolving technical and site issues. Ensure that all electrical work is executed in compliance with project safety standards and procedures. Verify as-built drawings for electrical systems as submitted by contractors. Liaise with local authority inspectors during their site visits and support contractor compliance efforts.<br>Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical certification. Minimum of 9 years of experience in site supervision/inspection within building construction sectors. Experience working with consultancy firms in the UAE. Strong understanding of electrical systems installation and local code requirements Good communication skills in English – both verbal and written. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and material data sheets.
