Position Title: Civil Site Engineer (High-Rise Construction) Department: Construction / Project Execution Location: Ajman, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Project Manager / Construction Manager Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer with strong expertise in high-rise building construction projects in the UAE to manage and supervise daily site activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. Manage site activities related to high-rise structural works, concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, plastering, and finishing works. Ensure construction activities are completed according to approved project schedules and milestones. Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, foremen, and labor teams to ensure smooth project execution. Provide technical guidance and resolve site-related issues promptly. Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization at site.2. Structural Works Management Strong knowledge of high-rise structural construction including:Raft foundation works Piling works coordination Basement construction Reinforcement works Formwork systems Concrete pouring activities Core wall construction Slabs, beams, columns, and shear walls Post-tensioning works (where applicable) Review structural drawings and ensure correct implementation at site. Conduct inspections before and during concrete pouring activities. Coordinate with surveyors to ensure proper levels, alignment, and dimensions.3. Quality Control & Inspection Ensure all works comply with approved method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and project specifications. Coordinate with QA/QC engineers and consultants for inspections and approvals. Raise inspection requests (IRs) and ensure approvals are obtained before proceeding with activities. Identify defects, non-conformities, and quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Maintain high construction quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.4. Drawing Review & Technical Coordination Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination and execution purposes. Identify discrepancies and coordinate with the Project Manager and consultants for clarification. Prepare technical queries (RFIs) whenever required. Ensure latest approved drawings are available and followed at site. Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes and ensure proper integration of services.5. Subcontractor Management Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements. Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors and provide necessary technical support. Verify subcontractor work progress and quality standards. Assist in evaluating subcontractor productivity and performance.6. Progress Monitoring & Reporting Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and work records. Monitor project progress against approved schedules. Report delays, risks, and site issues to the Project Manager. Support preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports. Maintain proper documentation of site activities.7. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance Ensure all site activities comply with UAE health and safety regulations. Follow company HSE policies and site safety procedures. Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe practices. Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and follow safety requirements. Immediately report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns.8. Material & Resource Management Monitor incoming materials and verify compliance with approved specifications. Coordinate material inspections and approvals. Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials. Assist in material planning to avoid delays in construction activities. Required Qualifications & Experience Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Experience:Minimum 4+ years of UAE experience as a Civil Site Engineer in high-rise construction projects. Proven experience working on residential towers, commercial towers, or mixed-use high-rise developments. Strong practical knowledge of UAE construction standards and procedures. Experience working with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors in UAE projects.

The AFCAP Site Manager (SM) at Abu Dhabi Air Base is accountable for the end-to-end execution of the Engineering Support Services (ESS) contract, ensuring all operational, financial, and contractual requirements are delivered in full compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) standards, USAF expectations, and Amentum corporate objectives. This role provides on-site leadership and strategic direction to a multi-disciplinary workforce, serves as the primary interface with U. S. Air Force stakeholders, and drives performance across safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction. The Site Manager ensures alignment with AFCAP program goals by integrating operational excellence with disciplined cost controls and proactive customer engagement in a dynamic OCONUS environment.<br><br>Essential Responsibilities:<br><br>Lead and manage all site operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of engineering and construction-related services; serve as the primary point of contact with USAF leadership and contracting representatives; oversee planning, scheduling, and delivery of all PWS requirements; enforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards; manage site-level forecasting, and cost control; direct and develop a multi-disciplinary workforce to maintain proper staffing, accountability, and performance; identify and mitigate operational and contractual risks; manage subcontractors, vendors, and supply chain activities; and ensure timely, accurate reporting and communication with AFCAP program leadership while continuously driving improvements in performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.<br><br>Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:<br><br>The SM shall be a USN and have a minimum of ten (10) years' experience related to the requirements and qualifications necessary to manage and perform the task. SM shall have experience in management and supervision of an engineering staff. It is preferred that the SM be a registered professional civil engineer. Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance. Possess a valid state issued driver’s license. <p>Learn the project, study drawings, specification, approved submittals of each trade, so he can plan carefully ahead of commencement of work. Coordinate the duties of Site Engineers, Foreman, other Site Staff and ensure that the construction team is organized to achieve the optimum productivity and carry out works in most efficient manner and in the stipulated time, budget and quality. Control the sub-contractor site activities as per specification and their quality of works and co-ordinate their requirements for uninterrupted progress. Prepare quantity take-off for all materials for the project and prepare schedule of materials forms. Prepare materials requisitions for the site and counter sign the materials requisitions prepared by the Site Engineer and authorize it from PM/CM. Check materials received on site to be in compliance with requirements. Check and oversee the store material records on a weekly basis. Set up the minimum quantity to be available of specific items to enable the Store Keeper to re-order same in a timely manner. Control and oversee monthly manpower report prepared by time keeper and Project Engineer and submit to CM/PM. Achieve the productivity rate for DDC activities as per the project productivity schedule in co-ordination with CM/PM. Make sure that all works are properly checked prior to consultant inspection. Make sure that consultant’s comments/remarks on daily progress of work are properly implemented. Attend all weekly progress meetings and prepare monthly report for labour and daily site progress report. Check setting out of works executed by Foreman and Site Engineer. Keep constant check on all trades, overseeing workmanship and materials, and ensure efficient labour distribution and quality of works to the desired standard and expectations of the management. Check Non-Conformance Reports/safety violations both internal and external and ensure that they are closed. Collect data on the performance of supervisory staff/workers, material and machinery and review against the planned output. Monitor and evaluates all Quality and HSE implementation & report to Project/Construction Manager/QHSE Manager for improvement. Participate in QHSE meetings and tool box talks and ensure that all risk assessment is carried out as per the safe work practices. </p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 7-10 years site experience of which at least 3-5 years as Project Engineer in a contracting company, preferably in UAE. Job Summary We are seeking a qualified Electrical Inspector to join our Construction Supervision team for an infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring electrical works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, project quality standards, and the applicable regulations and standards of Abu Dhabi authorities.<br>Key Responsibilities Review and understand contract documents, technical specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements. Inspect electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved shop drawings, and applicable Abu Dhabi regulations and international standards. Monitor contractor activities through routine inspections, testing, and verification to ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) requirements. Witness testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems and verify compliance with project specifications. Process Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate with the Resident Engineer (RE), Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE), and discipline engineers for timely approvals.
