<p>JOB PURPOSE
The Technical Engineer (Architectural) will act as the technical link between the design office and site execution teams, ensuring that architectural works are built strictly in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. The role involves reviewing architectural documentation, resolving technical queries, and supporting the overall quality of architectural works delivered on the Ghuwaifat Project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and design documentation for accuracy, buildability, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate design compliance on site, ensuring works are executed in line with approved architectural drawings and details.
• Resolve technical queries (RFIs) between the design consultant, project management, and construction teams in a timely manner.
• Review and comment on architectural shop drawings and material submittals prior to approval.
• Support the QA/QC team by clarifying architectural design intent during inspections and snagging.
• Coordinate architectural interfaces with civil, structural, and MEP works to avoid clashes and rework.
• Attend design coordination and technical meetings, recording and following up on action items.
• Maintain an updated record of architectural drawing revisions and ensure the latest issued-for-construction (IFC) drawings are used on site.
