<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p><span><span>Scope of Job</span></span><br><span><span>To inspect, maintain, repair, and improve all civil, structural, architectural, and finishing elements of the hotel property, ensuring a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and colleagues.</span></span><br>&nbsp;</p><br><br><b>Qualifications:</b><br><p><span><span>• Diploma, ITI, Trade Certification, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Maintenance, Masonry, Carpentry, Construction Technology, or related field.</span></span><br><span><span>• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a General Technician, Civil Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.</span></span><br><span><span>• Previous experience in hotels, resorts, commercial buildings, hospitals, or large facilities is preferred.</span></span><br><br><span><span>Main Duties and Responsibilities</span></span><br><span><span>Operational</span></span><br><span><span>• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance programs.</span></span><br><span><span>• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.</span></span><br><span><span>• Repair damaged walls, ceilings, flooring and architectural finishes.</span></span><br><span><span>• Perform plastering, painting, tiling, waterproofing and carpentry repairs.</span></span><br><span><span>• Conduct inspections and report structural concerns.</span></span><br><span><span>• Respond to emergencies involving water ingress, flooding and building defects.</span></span><br><br><span><span>Safety and Compliance</span></span><br><span><span>• Follow all Health, Safety, Fire and Environmental procedures.</span></span><br><span><span>• Use PPE correctly and report hazards immediately.</span></span><br><br><span><span>Guest Service</span></span><br><span><span>• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with guests.</span></span><br><span><span>• Ensure maintenance works are completed with minimal guest disruption.</span></span><br><br><span><span>General Responsibilities</span></span><br><span><span>• Maintain grooming standards and punctuality.</span></span><br><span><span>• Support engineering projects and other assigned duties.</span></span><br></p><br> </div>
