About the Company:
Our client is an established infrastructure contractor specialising in water, sewage and associated civil infrastructure works across the UAE. Due to continued company growth, new projects and contract awards, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to manage the procurement requirements for their construction, installation, upgrade and maintenance projects in Abu Dhabi.
Position Overview:
This position requires an established Senior Procurement Engineer with a strong technical background and extensive experience procuring specialist equipment and materials for water and sewage infrastructure projects.
Working closely with the engineering, commercial and construction teams, you will take full responsibility for procurement across your assigned projects, covering everything from technical evaluation and supplier selection through to purchasing, delivery and coordination with relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Procurement: Manage the sourcing and purchasing of specialist mechanical equipment, piping, valves, fittings and associated construction materials for water and sewage infrastructure projects.
• Technical Evaluation: Review engineering drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQ), ensuring materials and equipment meet project requirements.
