<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Attend and board vessels as required and as directed by respective Manager, in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures and Customer Requirements.</p></li><li><p>Advise on selection of contractors for goods and services provided to principals, including submission of competitive quotations, as required.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with Port Services processes, standards and procedures, including correct use of the operating system (WASP).</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper monitoring of the vessel and attendance to any follow up enquiries.</p></li><li><p>Ensure correct amount of pre-funding are received, or the correct level of authority has approved any deviation, prior to performing the Port Call. <p>We are looking for a strategic, experienced, and people-focused HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function within our school. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong HR leadership, overseeing the full employee lifecycle, and ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across the school.
Working closely with the School Principal and Senior Leadership Team, the HR Manager will provide expert guidance on employee relations, recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, and HR policies and procedures. The role will also ensure that all HR practices are aligned with UAE Labour Law, ADEK requirements, and the school’s policies and standards, while promoting a positive, professional, and supportive working environment for all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all day-to-day HR operations across the school.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, probation, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Manage employee records and ensure that all personnel files and documentation are accurate, complete, and confidential.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE requirements, ADEK regulations, and other relevant government authorities.
• Oversee staff eligibility, licensing, approvals, and required documentation in line with education authority requirements.
• Manage employment contracts, offer letters, renewals, amendments, resignations, terminations, and end-of-service processes.
• Provide professional HR advice and support to the School Principal, Senior Leadership Team, and line managers.
• Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary issues, grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Support and monitor the employee probation and performance management processes.
• Work closely with the Finance and Payroll teams to ensure accurate employee data, salaries, allowances, leave, and end-of-service benefits.
• Manage and monitor staff attendance, leave, absence, and HR-related reporting.
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
• Ensure all HR processes are conducted in a fair, consistent, confidential, and professional manner.
