About the Role AG&P LNG is looking for an HR Manager to be the on-the-ground HR focal point for our Dubai operations. This role owns the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, supports full-cycle recruitment, and coordinates with global HR counterparts on policy, payroll, and compliance matters. You'll also serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and welfare, and provide oversight to the admin team covering reception, travel, and office upkeep — stepping in on executive support or travel logistics yourself when needed (roughly 10% of your time). This is a hands-on, high-visibility role suited to someone who enjoys owning a process from start to finish, partnering confidently across local and global stakeholders, and keeping employees and candidates well supported at every step.
Key Responsibilities Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations Oversee the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and records management. Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws (supported by our legal department), visa requirements, and internal HR policies. Manage payroll coordination, leave tracking, and employee benefits administration. Maintain and update employee handbooks, contracts, and performance documentation. Support HR reporting and metrics (headcount, turnover, recruitment, and compliance data) to drive informed decision-making. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (end to end) Partner with hiring managers to understand headcount needs, build role profiles, and develop sourcing and workforce plans across engineering, technical, and corporate functions. Source candidates through Linked In Recruiter, Boolean search, job boards, employee referrals, agencies, and direct outreach, building a strong regional talent pipeline. Support recruitment processes including screening, interview coordination, and offer issuance. Manage candidate communication and experience throughout the process, ensuring timely, warm, and transparent updates. Conduct reference checks, background verification, and pre-employment documentation in line with UAE labor requirements. Prepare onboarding schedules, welcome materials, and system access requests in coordination with IT, Facilities, and hiring managers. Check in with new hires during the first 30/60/90 days to support a smooth transition and early engagement. Employee Relations & Engagement Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, engagement, and welfare matters. Support the resolution of grievances and performance or conduct concerns, escalating to legal/senior HR leadership as appropriate. Plan and support employee engagement initiatives, town halls, and welfare programs. Admin & Office Oversight (~10%) Provide oversight to the admin team (reception, travel, office upkeep), ensuring day-to-day support runs smoothly. Ensure consistent office protocols and basic facility management. Own vendor relationships for HR and office-related services (recruitment agencies, payroll and benefits providers, travel agencies, and facilities/office suppliers), managing service levels, renewals, and escalations. Step in on executive support, travel logistics, or coordination tasks as needed — including business travel and flight bookings for employees and candidates (interviews, mobilization, relocation), liaising with the corporate travel agent/portal on itineraries, fares, and approvals.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.4–5 years of progressive HR experience covering full-cycle recruitment, HR operations, and employee relations, ideally in a standalone or country HR lead capacity. Working knowledge of UAE Labour Law, visa/immigration requirements, and standard employment practices in the UAE/GCC market. Experience coordinating payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits administration. Hands-on experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or HRIS platform. Experience operating as the sole or lead HR presence in a local office while reporting into a global/regional HR structure. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines. High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential employee data and sensitive employee relations matters. In its pursuit to excel as a hybrid luxury retailer, the Group has curated a portfolio of over 10 owned brands and strengthened its distribution and marketing expertise for over 400 international names across luxury fashion, beauty, jewellery, watches, eyewear, and art de vivre categories.

Be it by constantly reinventing itself, committing to innovation, or embracing new technologies, the Group is shaping the future of luxury retail. It delivers seamless omnichannel experiences across more than 950 stores, online platforms, and mobile apps. Driving this innovation journey is The Greenhouse — the Group’s innovation hub, incubator, and accelerator for startups and emerging businesses, regionally and globally.

What you'll be doing

We are looking for a skilled Front-End (React.js) Developer to join our e-commerce web team. You'll build and maintain the customer-facing storefront for a luxury retail platform serving multiple countries and languages across the GCC. Day-to-day, you'll develop user-interface components with React and Next.js, integrate them with our GraphQL commerce APIs, and profile and improve front-end performance.

To succeed in this role you should have strong JavaScript and React fundamentals, hands-on Next.js experience, and a solid grasp of building responsive, high-performance, accessible web applications. You should be equally comfortable with both Next.js routing architectures — the Pages Router and the App Router — as well as working against GraphQL APIs, building components within a design system, and writing tests. Ultimately, a top front-end developer here designs and builds polished, fast, internationalized UI that scales across regions and devices.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product, design, and back-end teams to turn requirements and UI designs into working features.

Review application requirements and interface designs, surfacing edge cases and accessibility considerations early.

Build highly responsive, reusable UI components with React and our Tailwind CSS design system.

Integrate the UI with GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client against our headless commerce backend.

Implement internationalized, RTL-ready interfaces (English/Arabic) across multiple country storefronts.

Write application logic in JavaScript following React and Next.js patterns across both the Pages Router (our current architecture — SSR/SSG/ISR via getServerSideProps / getStaticProps) and the App Router (React Server Components, nested layouts, server/client components).

Contribute to our gradual migration toward the App Router, ensuring Pages Router and App Router code coexist cleanly throughout the transition.

Troubleshoot and debug interface and application code across browsers and devices.

Contribute to and extend the front-end architecture and shared component library, documented in Storybook.

Monitor and improve front-end performance and Core Web Vitals.

Write and maintain tests: unit/component tests with Jest and React Testing Library, E2E/regression tests with Cypress, and catch visual regressions with Storybook and Chromatic.

Participate in code reviews and uphold code quality through ESLint, Prettier, and CI checks.

What you’ll need to succeed

Proven experience working as a React.js / front-end developer.

In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and modern front-end tooling.

Hands-on experience with the Next.js framework, comfortable working in both the Pages Router and the App Router (a must) — including SSR, SSG, and ISR data fetching and React Server Components.

Strong experience with Tailwind CSS (a must).

Experience consuming GraphQL APIs, ideally with Apollo Client.

Previous experience creating or maintaining a design system / shared component library.

Experience with component-driven development and Storybook.

Experience with automated testing — unit/component (Jest, React Testing Library) and E2E (Cypress).

Familiarity with UI and visual regression testing practices.

Experience with browser-based debugging and performance/profiling tools (e.g. Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse).

Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows.

Good understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility (accessibility).

Excellent troubleshooting skills, plus good collaboration, communication, and time-management skills.

Nice to have:

Experience migrating a Next.js codebase from the Pages Router to the App Router.

Experience with internationalization (i18n) and building RTL (Arabic) interfaces.

Experience in e-commerce / headless commerce (e.g. Magento) and integrating payment providers (e.g. Adyen, Checkout.com).

Familiarity with feature flags / A/B testing tools (e.g. GrowthBook).

Familiarity with TypeScript.

Experience with Docker and containerized deployments (Bitbucket Pipelines or similar).

Familiarity with React state/data patterns (Context API, Apollo cache) and form libraries (React Hook Form).
